After years of searching and a few deals that fell through, I finally got one. Just framed it up
Love it! I stop and look at mine every day for a minute and smile. You will as well!
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.
Same here. Has this become the 98 St. Louis poster love fest thread? We all just post pictures? And ironically, not one person has mentioned how amazing this show was. Little did I know hearing Tremor Christ again would be almost impossible? I wouldn't hear "Oceans" again for almost 20 years. Still haven't heard "Brain of J" again. And my personal fave, a gorgeous "Wishlist," into Eddie talking about making the world better and an intro to "Nothingman" that is so good. I loved this show. First time I saw them! So much to remember.

That gray matting is dope. Yes, the signatures are enviable. But what a frame job.
The show is tight and the band is chatty but not too chatty.

The lightly trimmed one from the bay last month. Think it turned out pretty good
Pretty good is an understatement. That is beautiful. I'm all for restorations and and damaged posters that frame out nicely. Especially the hard to find ones where you don't have to break the bank. Get the art back on the wall where it belongs! Awesome job!
If one that damaged is going for over 1k, then a mint is possibly over the 4k. Cause that one is beat up!

Well I approve of your opinion and will continue to speak it as truth until a higher opinion comes around. Nothing against you, just fascinating to see these worth so much money.

Yeah when you think about it that there are 400 out there one and ones like the one sold yesterday on the Bay and then you have this piece and it's gotta be the best copy imaginable.

I wish there was some great story like hanging backstage to get the sigs, but truth be told I just bought it like that about 10 years ago or more.
I picked up msg98, St. Louis signed, Cali trio and Vancouver 98 signed by Ed and stone. All framed the same way. I think I paid about 1200 for the lot.
Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.
Quick derail thread flashback. I lived in a small town with a little recording studio. It must have been early 80s. Saw Joe Lynn Turner pull into the parking lot. Went to.my friends house. We rode our bikes back and wailed on the locked side door. He came and answered it! He gave me his autograph with a note. Threw it out at one point. Wish I kept it in a box. So it's cool you kept that zebra poster.
There is no derailing this thread...I think it's a complete takeover from the original intent. And that's nice. No clue what Zebra is.
