I'm thinking I might make a banner... Just because but the song I most want is sad. So.... Please play sad? Wow. I'd have to paint their cartoons on it.

Good to see the stages going width ways so there's still room near the front in the sides. Mt smart always had them length ways.

Yep, PJ play the Kowhai (blue) stage.

Anyone got details on the pre party? I can't find the event on FB.

I was saying anytime from late afternoon but everyone seemed to be saying evening so I added the 6pm date. + with Joe playing from 9 I figured that worked. I'm figuring on getting there at about 6, getting something to eat & settling in for the evening. B-)

I will probably get to father Ted's slightly after 6. I'm going to the zoo in the morning so I'll probably go straight there from there. Hey can I pay cash on the regular city buses? My bad leg can't take these f@#!ing hills anymore.

i have a sheet but i haven't a clue what to paint on it. mike got a kick out of the cartoon banner last time.. i guess i could just do the same sorta thing but make this one for sad and have snuggleton on it.

god i am such a winner.

beautiful day in the capital today. such a shame we don't get a big day out too.

Yeah definitely put Mr Snug on it I'd say. Mike liked & took one of our banners in the US last year too so he does like that kinda thing.

I'm gonna copy Ashlee's and just have a thank you on it. If they play Sad they play Sad. It seems disrespectful to Black to just hastily banner up for another song.

Haha. Wow. The banner is extremely creepy but it amuses me. Also, painting on sheets is balls.

oh yeah true.. i heard about that.

    oh well.

    PEARL JAAAAAAAAAM!

hey, next thursday i'll be driving up to auck, not sure what time we'll get there or if my friend is gonna wanna come to father teds (5 month's pregnant). is there easy parking nearby? she cant' drive so if she doesn't wanna come she won't be able to drop me off and pick me up.

Here's a map of street parking in the CBD. There should be a bit around at that time. The blue areas are $2/hr between 6pm and 10pm. I'll probably park up by the uni, past Albert Park (underneath the AT Victoria Parking Building label on that map). It's free from 6pm.

Yay re being on leave already DP. :)

My plan at this stage is to get there in time to see The Hives. I was wondering if people wanted to meet somewhere for lunch(late lunch perhaps) before heading to Western Springs although there's not really anywhere good that close to WS. Anyway we can perhaps work out a plan at the pre-party on Thursday. :)

ChowTown at Big Day Out is off the hook!

I just counted and realised that Friday will mark my 15th year attending BDO! What better way to celebrate that milestone than with my favourite band playing!

I haven't been since 2007. I know that in 2005 I was standing right by Duncan during the polyphonic spree. Anything is possible. You'll see me at this one! Lucky you!
