How is everyone planning on getting from Vienna to Berlin. Train? Cuz it seems like a long train ride to get there the day of the show. Flights are ridiculous within Europe. Also, are people taking a train to Stockholm and then Oslo? Just seems like a lot of time on the trains.

Flights don't seem all that bad. $70-$100.

If a train ticket is $30 (I'm guessing), it is probably worth the extra $50 or so in saved time to fly.

I'd recommend taking a flight. AirBerlin flights are about 50 USD one way. The train's not really cheaper and it's gonna take up your whole day. I think it's almost 10 hours. If you'd leave around 8ish you'll be in Berlin around 6-7pm and that's gonna be tough.

There is a bus on Facebook.
    https://www.facebook.com/events/367418310061855
Details are not ironed out yet but from what I read it seems like the plan is to meet the bus after the show in Vienna and ride overnight to Berlin.
It seemed like a great idea when I first saw it but there's a question of luggage storage involved, and how much one values sleep. I'm reconsidering.

This is a party bus so if it's sleep you're after, forget it :-P
The point is not to just go from Vienna to Berlin (flight is quicker and cheaper), the point is to have a blast with friends doing so :-)

Looking at probably doing Vienna. Return flights from Manchester coming up at £340 for the two of us. Fly out day before the show and fly home the day after.

Has anyone else looked around and found anything cheaper?

I don't think they will/should add another show in Italy... unless they want to jeopardize sales in Milan
they can do slovenia or croatia at 23rd!!

    Sweet sweet words, Dimi.

In Slovenia they could play here img_54271.jpg
There are 12.500 seats at basketball games (just hosted European basketball championship) so I guess the whole capacity is around 16,000. I remember when Sting was here there were 14,000 people in attendance, but it wasn't packed at all.
This is a newer arena Stožice, not the one they played in 2000 (Hala Tivoli).
Would not be any less dissapointed if they squeeze in Zagreb.
The worst enemies of music? Money and Mathematics. Combined with music, they both do the exact opposite of what they're supposed to do. Money makes music cheap, mathematics makes it stupid and predictable.

Doing the same route except Amsterdam.
If you're dragging along the wife with yourself like I will be doing, just promise her a shopping experience in Milano in designer shops area. That would help survive the Christmas. :D8-)

So what shows should I do?

I try to do 2 per tour.

    Which 2?

I know Wulheide would be a "no brainer", but been to Berlin/Wulheide twice so I think I skip Germany this year!

What bands are announced for the polish festival?

    Poor mans swedish girls.

I'm sort of single, but travelling with ex girlfriend so a bit sensitive in ways still. For some reason.

Best travellmate though. She fully understands the yearning to want to cuddle with Eddie.

With Mrs. Veddertown pregnant and due in March I was crossing my fingers that a bolt of lightning would hit Glasgow next year so I wouldn't have too much time away from home. Really undecided on the best option? Go for closest to home (Leeds, 530 miles) or outdoors, (Milton Keynes, 665 miles)? If Leeds end up with a second show like Manchester had last year then the back to back nights would be great but with 60000+ tickets to sell at MK I'd be surprised if any more UK dates will be added. Apparently the new arena in Leeds sounds amazing but there's something about PJ outdoors that is hard to ignore. Would love to go back to Berlin again or have a first visit to the Ziggodome. Decisions. Fucking excited though! ;)

Hey there! Been a busy spell at work so only been browsing occasionally. Had a few weeks off from listening to Lightning Bolt since around mid November with it getting a little overplayed and I was anticipating the tour announcement this month so now it's out I'm back in full on PJ mode... :D

    Are you doing any shows?
