1. completely emptied out the fridge, scrubbed it down including all of the shelves and drawers, discarded scary old food and any condiments that have been there for longer than 6 months or had less then a tablespoon remaining and put everything back
2. cooked 2 meals for 3 kids and cleaned up after
3. scrubbed the inside of the garbage can
4. adequately sympathized with hubby after he was outside twice snow blowing the 12+ inches of snow from the driveway
5. made home made gluten free apple muffins with the kids
6. started the beans soaking for yummy soup tonight
7. 3 loads of laundry
8. packed up a poster for the post office tomorrow
9. downloaded 2 bootlegs
10. sorted the pile of papers that was threatening to over take the dining room table
I needed a snow day. Now I'm going to make sure everyone is busy then jump on my bike with my headphones and ride away. >-

We ended up with over a foot here and still coming down. I live in a heavily wooded area and was extremely gracious that the town plow guy took the extra time to not plow me in and did some maneuvering to save my back. On top of that a guy down the road was blowing by with his 4 wheeler with a plow and offered to clear the rest of my driveway. Awesome fucking snow day.

Go swimming man! Cant wait until summer so I can use my pool again. Too lazy to leave the house and do it but I look forward to that hour per day (at least) in the pool all summer once the weather gets nice.

I'm looking forward to my swim team season ends (I'm a coach) and I'll have a bit of time to swim myself!
This season has already claimed 2 shovels. We still have two more but they are plastic with a metal TIP, which is no match for the ice we currently have to deal with. I have gone shopping for proper steel shovels with a friend 5 times already and there are simply none to be found anywhere. The ice was so bad yesterday that we wound up buying the very last pick axe on the shelf and using that to unearth my mom's car. As a direct result of this I have taken a snow day today. I'm fairly certain I did some damage to my right shoulder and my left arm weighs about 1000lbs. Manual labor sucks. I am way too decent sometimes.
