Who else was told to stay home from work/school?

I live in NYC and while there is not of accumulation, it is very "sludgy" and slippery out there.

    Kids have a snow day so they will be home all day driving each other crazy. I work in home health and we work in all weather conditions. It's snowing fairly heavily and already at least a few inches on the ground. I'm out seeing patients and grateful that my husband insisted on the snow tires. This just keeps life interesting.     Putting my selfishness aside, be careful shoveling everyone. Supposedly the snow is very dense which can be dangerous especially for those with heart conditions.

    Unfortunately for me, I still live in a part of the Midwest where you are considered a pussy if you can't make it into work because of weather. It's a good thing I own a Silverado.

    Same here Black... sucks big time. That damn weather network gets me all excited every time for the possibility of no work due to a storm. Then the next day comes its sunny out. Why do i let those bastards do that to me every time?
