I'd take U2 out because I don't think they play 35 song 3 hour sets, and their show is a bit too over the top (plus they haven't toured in 2+ years?)... but maybe Springsteen/E Street. I'll go with PJ though... this tour has been pretty amazing.
I'd also take them out as Bono is the worst human alive and listening to U2 is akin to torture

As much as I love U2, U2 can't touch what Pearl Jam is doing this tour.0 -

Also U2 doesn't change their set list much. They might change a couple songs night to night but it's mostly the same.ABQ 93, Las Cruces 95, ABQ 98, Bridge School 10/30/99, Lubbock 00, ABQ 00, Denver 03, State College 03, San Diego 03, Vegas 03, PHX 03, D.C. 03, Camden 7/5/03, NYC 7/8/03 + 7/9/03, Vegas 06, San Francisco 7/15/06 + 7/16/06 + 7/18/06, Kansas City 10, [EV:ABQ 11/6/12], Chicago 13, PHX 13, Denver 14--PJ24!, Telluride 16, Chicago 8/20/16, Chicago 8/18/18, Phoenix 22, Denver 22, Vegas 5/16/24

Here's another thing: I think Pearl Jam got popular right before it became fun and trendy for douchebags (aka the majority of people) to dislike anything that became popular. As a result, I think Pearl Jam goes right to the top of the list for most underrated bands of all time.
Think about it.
Put together a list of lead singers with a better voice and writing combo.
Stone Gossard could carry a really good band by himself but in Pearl Jam he's a "rhythm guitarist."
Mike McCready is pretty good.
Matt Cameron is a beast.
Jeff Ament is one of the most underrated bass players and songwriters ever.
They changed the game for albums. Before Pearl Jam most bands were content to have 2-3 hits and a ton of fillers. This band has at least 10 songs on every album that I'd be STOKED to see live.
Put it all together and what do you have? An insanely phenomenal band that has somehow managed to stay mostly under the mainstream radar for about 15 years. I remember the Grateful Dead getting REALLY popular again in the mid-90's when they were a shell of themselves. Let's see what shape Pearl Jam is in when their time comes again. My guess is: pretty damn good.Apr 07, 1994/Oct 01, 1996/Jul 07, 1998/Jul 08, 1998/Aug 29, 1998/Aug 31, 1998/Sep 01, 1998/Sep 03, 1998/Sep 04, 1998/Sep 06, 1998/Jun 01, 2000/Jun 04, 2000/Jun 06, 2000/Oct 20, 2000/Oct 21, 2000/Oct 22, 2000/Oct 24, 2000/Oct 25, 2000/Oct 20, 2001/Oct 21, 2001/May 30, 2003/Jun 01, 2003/Jun 02, 2003/Jun 28, 2003/Jul 02, 2003/Oct 25, 2003/Jul 15, 2006/Jul 16, 2006/Jul 18, 2006/Jul 20, 2006/Jul 22, 2006/Jul 23, 2006/Sep 21, 2009/Sep 22, 2009/Sep 26, 2009/Sep 25, 20110 -

I suppose that was my first point. Basically, the list of people who combine quality of lyrics with quality of voice would be very, very short. As in maybe no one. Now if he could just start remembering his own writing... 8-)Apr 07, 1994/Oct 01, 1996/Jul 07, 1998/Jul 08, 1998/Aug 29, 1998/Aug 31, 1998/Sep 01, 1998/Sep 03, 1998/Sep 04, 1998/Sep 06, 1998/Jun 01, 2000/Jun 04, 2000/Jun 06, 2000/Oct 20, 2000/Oct 21, 2000/Oct 22, 2000/Oct 24, 2000/Oct 25, 2000/Oct 20, 2001/Oct 21, 2001/May 30, 2003/Jun 01, 2003/Jun 02, 2003/Jun 28, 2003/Jul 02, 2003/Oct 25, 2003/Jul 15, 2006/Jul 16, 2006/Jul 18, 2006/Jul 20, 2006/Jul 22, 2006/Jul 23, 2006/Sep 21, 2009/Sep 22, 2009/Sep 26, 2009/Sep 25, 20110 -
