It's technically not an album like Ten or Vitalogy so it's difficult to compare. Each album has a certain feel to it and Lost Dogs just mashes it all together. I really enjoy Lost Dogs, but I'd call myself crazy if I ever thought of putting it ahead of Vitalogy or Yield.
It would be kind of like calling a bands 'greatest hits' their best album.

I have been listening to it a lot lately, at least for me of the 11 studio Albums it is #1
I was thinking the same. This is not like any of the actual studioalbums; it is a bunch of songs from different timeperiods and made under very different circumstances, put on an album. There's no real context and overall feelings. And to me it is not even close to being on the same level as any of the studioalbums.
That being said, I enjoy it, and like the fanvalue of it. I think there are some nice songs on it, that shows the band from all angles. It is sort of a kind of RearViewMirror's uncommercial and unorganized twin.
Wonder how fans, who has a little more relaxed relationship to Pearl Jam than us TenClubbers, feels about Lost Dogs...

That is a great album. Minus Ledbetter. I used to love it, but i can't stand that song now. a case of the overplay.
