Well Pearl Jam are my 3rd favourite band, so I guess i'd better name my 4th favourite band, which is Iron Maiden.

Nine Inch Nails - but they are not my 'second' favorite band - I like them 100% equally to Pearl Jam. Trent Reznor's creativity, artistry, and attention to detail never fail to astound me.
This. NIN and PJ are my 1a and 1b band, along with AIC (1c).

its mostly The Rolling Stones, but it could be The Who, The Clash, The Police, Led Zeppelin, U2, or OASIS, or about 10 others.

Luckily, they all know their place...

I am forced to say Iron Maiden since I hear it 3-4 hours a day with my soon to be 13 year old son in love with them.

Other honorable mentions: Audioslave, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Distburbed, Godsmack and I'm currently getting hooked on Volbeat
The singers voice from Volbeat wears on me after awhile.I too dabble in the heavier genre and have been hooked on Stone Sour of late.
Ps- looks like the poster thing is going to be great.
