The Beatles. But they're in a league of their own, so I guess I'd say Radiohead. But it's so hard to rank after Pearl Jam.

    Led Zeppelin
    Fugazi
    QOTSA
Joseph Arthur (are we talking solo artists too here??)

I don't even think Pearl Jam is my first favorite band anymore.

I'd say The National is my first favorite. With LCD Soundsystem as my #2.

After PJ it's either TOOL, Eels, or Hum. I've never really been able to decide which of those I like the most. It just depends on my mood.

You took the words out of my mouth...but about a month ago I came to grips that I don't think they will ever put out an album again, just a hunch.

It'll happen. One more and that's it for the band.

Nine Inch Nails - but they are not my 'second' favorite band - I like them 100% equally to Pearl Jam. Trent Reznor's creativity, artistry, and attention to detail never fail to astound me.

I thought about it long and hard and my answer is... Pearl Jam. Or if I can't say that, can I say Eddie Vedder solo? Pearl Jam takes places 1-100 for me. So if you want to know 101, I could do that, but it's probably Pearl Jam.
words seem so out of place.
