That disseminate their information through the same medium though, so for that purpose they're one entity. But I agree that the EV announcement shouldn't preclude a PJ one shortly after. At least that's what my optimistic brain half tells me. 8-)

http://www.bravallafestival.se/ in Sweden is announcing some rock and indie bands today... never heard of this festival before, but apparently it's pretty big (started last year?). Iron Maiden is one of the headliners this year.

It's running from June 26-28 so it would fit nicely after the Wuhlheide show.

... no PJ here, turns out it was Kings Of Leon, along with some smaller names.

I don't think the time in Seattle makes a blind bit of difference to the time an announcement goes out. The 2007 euro tour appeared on the site at about 8.30 am UK time when it happened.

2012 came around this time of the day if I remember correctly. I was just about to leave home from work (like I am about to now...)

It did, as did 2009. 2009 was 3 o'clock on the dot as I was just finishing work and had an agonising drive home hoping the tickets wouldn't run out.

I think 2006 was around 7.00 pm but that was in line with the annoucement for the Reading and Leeds festivals.

There definitely a tour coming because Matt Cameron made an announcement on soundgarden that he can't tour with them next summer due to his pearl jam commitments.... Or did I dream that up?

Anyway, there's definitely some European dates coming - I can feel it...... :D
