The festival has been named one of the most innovative festivals recent years: http://blog.omusicawards.com/2011/10/wa ... s-mtv-oma/

Last years festival information here: http://www.wayoutwest.se/

If that's in August like usually, it's about a month too late for PJ.

I'm not just saying this, the new leeds arena is truly fantastic, the sound is incredible , not a bad seat in the house either. If Pearl Jam do play there then it will be fantastic , they will blow the roof off !

What is better GA or seated?

    date?

    july 10 to 12

    https://www.facebook.com/bilbaobbklive.uk?fref=ts

Dimi said tour ends in the UK on july 11

So they can't play BBK. Sadly, cause I live at 90 km from there.

There's a festival in Biarritz (south or France, near Spain) that just posted a tweet "something BIG is coming...."

Last year Neil Young played there. A lot of surf there, great place for EV.

The band stayed there for the 2000 show here in San Sebastian.

i was seated for the two shows i saw, one of them was 3 rows from the back but it still felt very close , the acoustics and visuals are amazing. I guess you won't see some of the benefits in ga in the pit but you will still get crystal clear sound. And the seating arrangement is like a big theatre , the atmosphere and energy pearl jam fans create will truly make it a great show

I think a Europe tour in summer 2014 would be great. Husband and I were trying to come up with a good way to celebrate our 20th anniversary, and I think following the band around Europe is the best idea we've had yet. :D

    Best idea, indeed. 8-)

I guess it depends on scheduling, if it fits in with their timeframe and if the venue/promoter wants them. As hard to believe as it is, some venues could turn them down.

Not saying i would prefer Manchester instead of Glasgow but just got a feeling its going to be Manchester again if they only play one UK venue :( Just to throw a spanner in the works about leeds being closer for us scots.....it takes longer to get to Leeds than it is to Manchester by train and car. and looks like the train is also dearer  Another thing Manchester has going for it it has a bigger capacity 2200 i think ? compared to the Hydro and Leed witch are 1200-1300 i think ? It was hard enough trying to get tickets for Manchester 1 two years ago
