In New Brunswick, still nothing nearing 4 weeks from e-mail notice of shipping. Honestly, I'd love to know whether to scream at Mail Innovations or Canada Post, or both; even with the border in play, it's getting a bit ridiculous. I, like others, just hope there are still replacements available if/when mine finally arrives. I assume it'll be defective, as copies that play well seem to be rarer than red vinyls.

nothing here in ONt... but peeps around me here getting them... should be in this week. Hopefully.

Was wondering the same too. Haven't received the vinyl yet from the 10club here in Nova Scotia. Will play it and see if there are any glitches. If so, contact for a replacement. So I gotta ship this back to them, wait, then get the new replacement. USA/CDN shipping etc.. We're looking at Jan '14, maybe more ..

You don't have to ship the defective one back D , just email them with your shipping info they'll ship a new one.

I know you don't want to open it but you might want to in this case to make sure it works.

Thanks Mel, I already opened it and did a visual check. The vinyl looks to be in good shape without the defects others have had. Once I get my record player out of storage, I'll give it a spin!

I emailed the 10C, to say my CD still hasn't arrived and I was concerned because I haven't received an email to say it was shipped and my status still says WAREHOUSE, many Australians received their CD's in the last 10 days.

Anyway 10C confirmed my CD was sent and added:

Normal transit time is 10-14 business days.

These are worst case shipping times. Orders are shipped without tracking.
International orders shipped via UPS Mail Innovations can take up to 4-8 weeks for processing, shipping and delivery. At this time, there is no tracking information available for International shipments. Please take into account holidays and poor weather conditions. Shipments to Canada, Mexico, South America and Australia can expect delays due to increased Customs scrutiny. Orders that have not arrived within 90 days of order placement will be considered lost and will be resent if stock remains or store credit will be given in full amount of purchase.

I hope they all arrive very soon.............90 days is a long wait, especially since we have been waiting since July.:cry::cry:

Ugh :( Hopefully its not gonna take that long... From Vancouver to Seattle weathers been fine... Other then getting a bit colder :) No snow.... Sonthere shouldnt be any delays there :D ..... But wait Mail Innovations takes their stuff on some crazy rides though right? Seattle... To Miami.... Then New York..... Toronto.... Then Vamcouver.... :D instead of a straight line thats 2-3 hrs.... Lets do a big a$$ circle :D

  • Got my vinyl today. All things considered, I'm not as disappointed as I set myself up to be.

The only damage aside from the standard dinged corners that always seem to happen no matter what were a 2-inch rip in the sleeve where the record poked out and a matching tear on the inner gatefold. It's possible this simply happened in shipping. With a 4-week journey, my record must have had quite the adventure, haha.

I gave the record a spin, and nothing screamed out "defect" at me, although I did encounter a few skips on Pendulum and some general spikes in surface noise.

So I guess I did better than others (although red vinyl and/or a postcard would've been A1). I suppose I'll let UMG know and see if I qualify for a replacement or if I'm being too nitpicky.
