It just landed in Victoria. It's on my filing cabinet at work. I haven't opened it yet though, but considering I haven't ordered any other vinyl from Santos L. Helper I have to image its lightning bolt :)

Edit: The vinyl landed.. the CD is still MIA.

condition good? or you still at work :D

I just opened it (and yes i'm still at work :) ). There are some scuff marks on the vinyl packaging and a bit dented in on corner, but that's not too out of the ordinary for vinyl packaging.

The Vinyl itself. Ugh. Theres a big triangle shaped gouge that goes between the 2nd and 3rd tracks on side 1. Time to dig out the replacement email process.

It get's worse. The email address the 10c provided. It's full. Messages are bouncing back saying the email box is full and to try again later.

It seems to me that most of these records are f'd up. Very few people are posting that they aren't. Maybe they should automatically reissue?

Vinyl arrived in Vancouver today and...its f#!%ed. Hazy scuffed look to the record, skips and pops start half way through the first song and continue throughout. Low volume level as described by others...
Guess I'll meet you in the replacement thread.

Now that Iv'e had more time to look at it....it is really bad. Has a weird wavy look to it and gouges on side A and side B has scuff marks on it.

No big deal, been rocking the MP3's so I'm getting my fix. I really like the artwork.

I got an email from UMG customer service saying the replacement will ship early next week. So you may be right.

For the Canadians and other international customers include your phone number in your initial email. They need it for some reason. This is who I got in contact with Francene.Luttrell@umusic.com after I got a delivery failure notice from the initial email address. Good luck all.

Vinyl arrived in Edmonton area today. Sleeve looks good, no bends or cracks, but haven't opened it up to see the condition of the actual LP or what color it is :D. Won't be able to listen tonight with taking the kids trick or treating, but hope to listen over the weekend.

Goy my vinyl today in Vancouver. Packaging in perfect condition.
Side A sound great.
No postcard with my vinyl. Maybe it's a different batch than the others?
Have to listen to Side B until final verdict.
