    My black one just arrived, but its got multiple long and wide scratches and there's a 3" break in the spine. Even a small chip broke off the record. Looks like it didn't survive from west coast to east coast. Hope they'll replace it. :( I'll take a red one, if they want! :) ...or any color. Just would like one that I can hear music on.

    So with red vinyl it may be random who got them but does anyone know if there was a different making or code etc yet?

    Or are people referring to random as packaging identical as the black but red vinyl randomly slipped in?

    Anyone have view on the numbers produced yet?

    I wasn't planning on opening mine, was going to buy a 2nd copy and keep it sealed to show my kids when they're older.

    Heard about the random red ones, so I cracked mine open on the weekend, she's red.

    Listened to it that night from start to finish and it plays just fine.

    I would be curious to know how many. Part of what makes it cool to me, no one really knows. Could be tons out there (or more coming) or very few.
