what's the sound quality on this and the "Mudfest" Canadian show you posted just above this one?
you should download it and find out.........if you don't like, there's always the delete button on your keyboard.
I tend to think posters (ESPECIALLY I'm Gone, Riot Mac and LowLight03) aren't gonna offer shitty sounding recordings unless the recordings are hard to come by or its the only one circulating.
does anyone have those eddie solo shows from 2002 i believe. the ones where he played some unreleased songs on the uke.
I used to have these but I lost them in the great hard drive crash of 2006. which is why I am currently reripping all of my pj. it is taking a long time!!!
i do, not sure when ill be able to upload them though

Just curious about the sound because both shows look great and I don't want to get my hopes up! That's all.
set: Go, Animal, Why Go, Jeremy, Rearviewmirror, Even Flow, Glorified G, Daughter, Alive, Porch, Baba O'Riley
notes: Mike plays a few notes from 'Sweet Home Alabama' just before 'Glorified G.' PJ joins Neil for his encore, 'Rockin' in the Free World.' Blues Traveler and Soundgarden also played this show. Blues Traveler's John Popper helps out, playing harmonica on 'Baba O'Riley' from a wheelchair.
thanks!!

Looking for concerts with Ben Harper or any other artist and Pearl Jam, i have the Bridge School Benefit concert in 2004 and would love more concerts with a different feel to them
did anyone respond to this post? i can't find anything, so i'll ask again:
anyone have any shows w/ ben harper other than bsb 04?
1996 - Randall's Island II 1998 - MSG I
2000 - Jones Beach II & III 2003 - Uniondale, MSG I & II
2006 - E. Ruth I & II 2007 - Lollapalooza
2008 - MSG I & II, Hartford 2009 - Philly IV
2010 - Newark, MSG I & II
09/11/98 - Madison Square Garden: New York, NY [130m]
support act: Ben Harper
set: Release, Hail Hail, Animal, Even Flow, Given to Fly, Corduroy, MFC, Habit, Faithfull, Daughter/(Beginning to See the Light)/(WMA), Wishlist, Nothingman, Immortality, RVM, Brain of J, Black, Do the Evolution
enc 1: Breath, State of Love and Trust, Off He Goes, Leatherman, Better Man/(Save it for Later), Mankind, Baba O'Riley
enc 2: Indifference (with Ben Harper), Alive
notes: Returning for the encore and yet another sea of "Breath" signs on ever single level of the Garden, Ed tells the crowd they are never satisfied:
"You fucking cocksuckers. [shakes head] You fucking bitch! You know, we come up here as a collective band and we give and we give and you just fucking want more ... and you know what? You deserve it. This is like some kind of organized religion here; I've never seen anything like it. Do you see what's happening? ... the third night in a row, right? [applause] Well, fuck you. We're gonna play it!" (992K)
leading to the first playing of 'Breath' since 1994!!! woo hoo!!! With a brief announcement ("same record, different track"), they follow with 'SoL&T.' 'Mankind' is introduced by Stone saying, "Well, since we're playing every song in the catalog..." 'Baba' is intro'd as being a response to "corporate rock bands who make the mistake of trying to cover a real rock song." 'Indifference' is played with an ecstatic Ben Harper (who has been including 'Indifference' at some of his shows). During 'Alive,' Ed makes four attempts to toss his microphone over the vocal monitor rig above his head, and finally gets it over, but instead of just standing there, he proceeds to CLIMB UP THE MIC CORD and hang there for the rest of the song. Possibly the best show the band has ever played in their life. Period. (And they knew it, too.)
also, does anyone have a clean copy of the same, b/c i'm getting a dead link?
thnx in advance.
i'll be posting my revised list later today for those that may have requests (although 75% of my collection is from this thread, so it may be useless).

This sounds like a kick ass show. Thanks! Quick question, what is a .sitx extension and what do I do with it? Thanks for the help.

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure what a sitx extension (its the only way my computer allows me to compress things) is but you can d/l a program called Stuffit Expander which is free (just google it) and that should open it right up for you. The program comes for both windows and macs. Let me know if that works
For the third time in a row the download for the Toledo VFC show has stopped for me around 20-24%. It gives me a message:
File requested does not exist, download aborted.
I am using the program Download Accelerator.
Anyone have any advice for me as to how I can fix this?
Is it the file? The program?
A gremlin on the wing?
I appreciate any help.
thanks,
bill
I have troubles with Sendspace as well. Sounds like the same issue. I'm on a wireless network at the Apt. complex where I live and for whatever reason when I use a download accelerator, I'm unable to resume the download when it gets cut off. I hear ya on this! With Megaupload, my download accelerator works like a charm though. What I have done with Sendspace is to just download it with Windows normally (without a Down. Acc.). It usually stalls at least once, but most of the time I am able to click the file link at the bottom of the screen and it picks up the download where it left off. Now, this isn't always the case. Sometimes it starts back over from the beginning, but with persistence (sometimes very painfully persistence) I have been able to download quite a few shows via Sendspace. I have tried 2 different Down. Acc. (GetRight and FlashGet) and neither seems to cooperate with Sendspace. I even used the particular one they suggested to me and had no luck. Hence the reason I love Megaupload. Maybe someone else has some better advice for you on this one.

my bad...just really want this show & didn't want my post to get lost...
I think I have that show on dvd. I can rip the audio from it if you want that.
06/13/99 - Alpine Valley Music Theatre: East Troy, WI (Ed with C Average at Tibetan Freedom Concert)
attendance: 31,000
set: Last Kiss (EV solo), Better Man (no tag), Watch Outside (Mono Men), Driven to Tears (Police), Running Out of Time (Dead Moon), Diamonds In The Rough (Dead Moon), Love -> Building on Fire (Talking Heads), I Am A Patriot
notes: Ed takes the stage solo (with noticeably longer blonde hair), commenting "... this place holds fond memories." He starts clapping, getting the audience to put-on, saying "Well, I don't know if this is going to work..." pointing to the empty drum and bass positions, and pretends to ask random people in the crowd to join him on stage, prompting his bandmates C Average to come up from the audience to join him. They then go into 'Better Man,' which the band had not ever rehearsed! After 'Driven to Tears,' he jokes about how they'd been rehearsing, that they'd been putting us on, and hoped it was okay. The two Dead Moon cover songs are performed from handwritten lyric sheets. (Ed received permission from Dead Moon to play these songs in advance.) 'Patriot' is totally different--a very cool punk version with Ed having a blast and doing a lot of windmills. On the setlist but not performed: Naked Eye, Ship Song (Nick Cave), World Where You Live (Crowded House), Corduroy. However, the setlist was not necessarily a firm document - Ed called out the songs one at a time as the spirit (or whatever) moved him.

Went to see PJ in 95 at the Reading festival, no Eddie but a great gig!!!

Nope, but the 1993 New Orleans shows (well, at least one of them) has Victoria Williams on Crazy Mary.
