The only thing that is making feel better about the fact that my dumb ass didnt shell out the money to fly to TN from Vegas for this show is that I am listening to Zellerbach 2 right now and that at least I got to see that tour. This is the best band that ever walked the planet and they never cease to amaze me. Thank you Pearl Jam

You've got Berkeley night 2? Could you PM me a link please?

But I'll go ahead and say it took Matt 8 years to learn them.

Just proof that the man can do anything.

considering Matt is quoted as saying it took him 2 days (yes, that's right) to learn PJ's ENTIRE catalogue when he joined on for the '98 Summer tour, i HIGHLY doubt that did NOT include WMA :)

He didn't really start trying to learn them until this afternoon ... because they were too easy for him. ;)

WMA is an extra kick-ass rarity, because it has never been played that often live, period, by any drummer. I think Dave A. and Jack each did it live maybe, what, three times?

There's a lot of talk that Metallica came out and played Go with them. I'm pretty sure that's bullshit but confirmation?

No, but they were out there during All Night. Metallica sang the harmonies in the background. it sounded awesome!

oh she is. talked to her this afternoon a bit. so much she wanted to see yet she kept looking at the pearl jam line for the pit as it got longer. she was torn as she loves cat power and iron and wine as well.
Well, this made me smile, so I guess all is good. :) Thanks for the updates and hope to meet you all soon. :D This sounds like it was a great one for sure! :)

rarities aside, i believe the point was that "it took Matt 8 years to learn the song" which, i think you'd agree, is BS :)

This set is better than WPB and Tampa. They're making sure that people leave Bonnaroo knowing Pearl Jam was the best.
