Gorge II I like better than Gorge I, and I got Pistoia based on the good reviews surrounding it, I wasn't disappointed at all. It rocks and the crowd is insane.
But still, Santa Barbara sounds excellent, and setlist is good. I can't hype it enough... "Oceans", "Low Light", "Waiting on Friend", "Hard to Imagine", "Come Back" and "Crazy Mary" all in the opening acoustic mini-gorge set, which was actually longer than the Gorge's acoustic set in 2005! Then the band lurches into their electric set with amazing live versions of "Insterstellar Overdrive/Corduroy", "Wasted Reprise/Life Wasted", "Whipping", "I Got Shit", "Big Wave", and decent versions of "Severed Hand", "U" and "Porch". The only thing that could have made it better was including "Parachutes" in the acoustic set, but they had to save that for the Bridge School Benefit.
I'm still waiting for Basecamp to upload the rest of the Australian shows, before I get into them. A lot of buzz about the Newcastle show, but I'll have to wait until I can afford before I hear it. My ass is broke now, thanks to Basecamp Productions.
Amen! San Diego a close second.

man what a show
Katowice....2007
What a great band. Everyone in the world should see this band live. Reminds me why they are great. Wish I could see them again right now.
I havent heard a lot of the European boots, but the crowd in Newcastle is decent....
Crowd seems to come through better in Sydney 3 though. (2 verses of better man, Mike and Matt chants, and over all quite good.)

Gorge 1 prolly preferred by many seeing it was the last part of the American leg and it had so many favs (it's ok, crown, footsteps, little wing etc.)... I'm biased when I say this but it's my fav boot cause I was there baby!
San Diego (long road, oceans say no more)
Milan (listen to the crowd!!!!!) Actually a lot of the euro boots were very very good
Reading (welcome back to England pearl jam).
Adelaide 1 again very biased.... Thin Air, Hatred Down, MFC, LBC, NAIS, Satan's Bed, Miracles, Blood and 1/2 full) It was my fav set of the year.
Sha la la la i'm in love with a jersey girl
I love you forever and forever

NewCastle is totally BLOWING MY MIND these last few days...what an incredible show.
But, I'm surprised at how many people seem to be so LESS THAN IMPRESSED with the Torino show...I rarely see the praise for it that I think it deserves.
For CHRIST'S SAKE, they played the entire new album in order!! And, they were fucking ON that night too...I mean, I've heard a lot of recordings by now of songs off the new album, but this evening they REALLY PLAYED them with an intensity that was very special.
GET THIS BOOT!
...I was always a DeadHead, but when I first heard Winston Rodney, aka the Burning Spear, sing, I became a SpearHead too!
dang youre right...that SB show was off the hook!
