Drogheda? Oh, I remember Drogheda United. They played against Start in the UEFA Cup here in Kristiansand and the away game in Ireland. You had the red shirts right? We won against you and lost against Ajax in the next fixture.

Yeah we were cheated out of that match ;)

We just won our league so champions league for us next season...bring on milan!!

I think its bullshit Europe got so many tour dates this year, while the south got 0. Atleast you guys in Chile got to see PJ recently. Where is our tour date? Pearl Jam should be play the south before they go back to Europe.

So, 12 shows in one year is "bullshit" is it? Considering that most of them were one show in one country I hardly think that means we're getting the better deal. They played 12 in Australia in two and a half weeks in 06.

We had to wait for 6 years just to get the Astoria gig in 06 and then, after nearly 40 shows in North America, they came back to do 23 shows in Europe.

36 shows in SEVEN YEARS is not exactly overkill is it?

i know for a fact there are going to be 4 shows in israel:
1 secret show (for obvious reasons, i cannot disclose the location)
1 show at Sultan's Pool in Jerusalem
    1 in Caesarea's Amphitheater
    (photos: http://www.photolight.co.il/photo/2007-09-09/105091.jpg and http://www.7wonders.co.il/dat/pict/1192380313.jpg
and 1 last big show in tel-aviv
(the shows in jerusalem and caesarea will tribute a lot of neil, since these 2 venues hosted 3 terrific neil-jam shows back in the day)

    That's bullshit....

According to the guy that is responsible for the booking for the Norwegian music festival (Quartfestival that had The Who and Chris Cornell last year), Pearl Jam is NOT touring Europe 08.

Just to put it out there... We haven't heard anything that actually prove that they will your Europe.

i love the way its turned into an irish-dominated thread. we just want it more than the south do. and you had all your pearl jam years ago, weve only had like 5 shows ever here.

lemme see now, land in Shannon, do 2 nights in Galway, down to Dolans in Limerick, then Cork, maybe Waterford, Newcastle, up to Drogheda, i assume the midlands will get a show or two aswell, then up to Bangor, then Belfast, then a quick skip up the M1 for a 3 night stand in three different Dublin venues!

fuck, it could take a while to cover that. i dont know if i have the cash for this tour

I read somewhere that Pearl Jam would play 4 concerts in Israel. One was secret. I don't understand the humor in making false rumors.

    That's how rumors starts...

ssssh... keep it quiet, but... i have it from VERY RELIABLE sources that Elvis isn't actually dead but is the real brains behind the George Foreman Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine, Jim Morrison works as a fluffer on the Northern Line in London, and John Lennon plays skiffle in a cheese club in Preston.

but don't tell anyone, because that's how rumours start...

You don't get it, do you?

Pearl Jam/Eddie touring Ireland is not that unlikely... 4 shows in Ireland.. Didn't they do a bunch of shows in Italy?

there's 60 million people in Italy.. not even a tenth of that in Ireland.

that said, oz has about 35 I think and they did a dozen dates there..
