Fucking lame. Euros get all these shows and the south still doesn't get anything? We here in Florida are still waiting. We haven't seen in anything since 2003.

I think its bullshit Europe got so many tour dates this year, while the south got 0. Atleast you guys in Chile got to see PJ recently. Where is our tour date? Pearl Jam should be play the south before they go back to Europe.

That would be awesome. Considering the UK, Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Belgium and Austria have all had at least 2 shows in the last 2 tours. Not complaining just making an observeation btw.

Just a few Dublin shows would make me happy, too. Ok some Dublin shows before June and then in June / July one in Munich and one in Salzburg :D. Although Salzburg will be a bit crowded then ...

Anyway. Whenever they'll be back in Europe, I'll be there, no question.

Well...you are European after all...and I live in a southern state.

U2 played here in Miami and told us "You guys are so loud, it sounds like a fucking 747 in here". Miami is different from the rest of the south. We're all hispanic, so we have the intensity of the South American shows. We were so loud, we could barely hear Bono. Pearl Jam would love it here in Miami, but they never play here. They go to Ft. Lauderdale or West Palm Beach, which is farther north. I don't get it.

good one...that did crack me up a bit. the whole southern thing is just starting to get funny i guess. it's just an eddie quote from 2000 tour (i think) but truthfully i cant remember the show or what the referance was to, but i know he was referring to the lack there of teeth. i just remember the quote. when i get out of work i will see if i can figure it out...now that it's bugging me.

    Ohh sweet speculations..
They've been in Europe two years in a row...so I really fear we won't see them for sometime now..
...but if they come back (any time that may be)...I think it's time for Slovenia, Hungary and Finland..
We (fans) are quite demanding..they can't tour all the time and then in between make some records..so I understand if there will be a break..my heart just doesn't.

It's been 2710 days since they were in Slovenia...... that is almost four million minutes..
But I'm still here..waiting..row row row the boat... ;)

aye i know, i was tryin to be facetious

you might be loud, but they evidently dont feel too comfortable in the south- lots of mixed feelings. which is a shame, but im sure they will play the south eventually. ive never met anyone who thinks american shows are anywhere near as intense as euro shows though. theres just no contest!

  • The teeth in a Georgians mouth was Mansfield 2003 iirc *punches self in head - stop remembering crap like that*

Anyhoo, I think we'll probably miss out next time... I don't want to, but I think we've done pretty well for the last two years. I do think that Scandinavia missed out though - wouldn't begrudge them a few gigs.
Oh, and just for the hell of it, a two nighter in the ashes of Eddies in Brum, to commemorate the 1992 gig there... you know, while they're passing through ;)

Yes, I have been to some Pearl Jam concerts. Several of them.

Drogheda? Oh, I remember Drogheda United. They played against Start in the UEFA Cup here in Kristiansand and the away game in Ireland. You had the red shirts right? We won against you and lost against Ajax in the next fixture.
