not a complaint, just a question.

How come shipping is $8 and it's going to take a week? It's slower than $3 USPS media mail (which is used for vinyl). Might as well just send it to us that way and everyone saves money. I'm sure UPS-MI offers them discounts on boxes, etc but I was just wondering. I'm no logistics expert.

It's probably got something to do with shipping bulk quantities? Does USPS pick stuff up for delivery? I'm Canada so if you want something picked up you have to call UPS (or another courier). If you want to ship via Canada Post (our equivalent of USPS) you have to drop it off. UPS also prints off labels which is pretty nice.

Maybe the extra costs shift manpower from 10c to UPS? Just a thought.

I'm sure it has more to do with the weight and packaging of this album. 3-LP in a book format weighs a lot more than a standard LP.

Mine had said it would be here today, actually it still says that, but it just arrived in NJ and I'm outside of Philly. I doubt it gets here today, which is a let down

Does it say it is currently in Logan Township? That's not far from Philly at all and I would say you have a good chance of it arriving late this PM.

I'm in the same boat. The issue is what time UPS gets it to the post office, since UPS does not deliver it. No chance I get mine today, possibly tomorrow.

mine has been sitting at the same status for over 24 hrs now. Tracking numbers are kind of worthless sometimes, it seems.

I feel a vinyl crave coming...
    Been waiting at my home...
Wanna spin Vault 3 like crazy...
    But it's stuck in Ohio...
    Its stuck in Ohio...

Should I go down and get it...
Folgers could help the drive down...
It should have been here long ago...

When I do finally get it...
I'm calling in to work for a week...
Not my fault my boss should know...

    I hear the vinyl calling...
    Still waiting at my home...
How much would a taxi cost...
    It's still in Ohio...
