Star Trek... Or Star Wars?

Is there a right choice to make? Is it silly to confuse the two into one?
Han Solo or Spock?
Who would be your space travel buddy??

Solo (he knows where all the cool bars are)
IV, V and VI only.
Yep, with V being the best.
Another habit says its long overdue
Another habit like an unwanted friend

"Well, you tell him that I don't talk to suckas."
no contest
Since I would be piloting the Falcon, Chewie would be my travel buddy.
And without a doubt Han Solo would be my traveling buddy. To hell with that nerd Spock. Now if you make it Han Solo vs Bones, then I'd have to think about it a little more. Bones has the best hooch in the galaxy.
The TV show has its charms, but personally I care more for the films. II, IV and VI are really great movies. I never got into the Next Generation stuff, I've seen a few episodes and they were OK, and I saw one of the movies which was good, but the point is that it's about more than just the first show.

There had to have been a better actor for that role.
A friend of mine is a Trekkie and has tried his damndest to get me to like Trek.
I mean, I haven't seen Hayden Christensen in anything else, but he was just boring in Ep II & III
Neither have I. Is he always that bad? I've always given him the benefit of the doubt because George Lucas can get a terrible performance out of anybody. Look how terrible Natalie Portman was, and she's a good actress. The only person who was any good was Ewan, but he had a frame of reference for his character and was doing an Alec Guinness impression. George only cares if the actors are standing on their mark so he can add millions of dollars worth of CGI behind them, the performances could have been phoned in for all he cares. And the actors didn't have much to work with script-wise.
Its just much easier for me to criticize the accidents that I can see past.
Everything about Anakin was lousy...I dont like to think about it
*(actually jar jar didnt ruin those movies nearly as much as that kid and Hayden Christiansen did)
I think we can all agree that Darth Maul was the shit
Agreed
