Even though this is my first Bridge, I'm sure the concert won't go that late because it starts at 2PM in the afternoon. Saturday will be later because of the 4PM start.

funny, I've been to every bridge, most both nights, since 1999, only missed last year, and Sunday goes to 1130pm, they play longer sets on Sunday

So I just got back from THE SPORTS PAGE and talking to the manager there - she is totally giving me free run of the patio outside.

Since we are planning on converging there at 12PM, she thinks te Bridge benefit will not leave the place packed and we should essentially have free reign!!!

The place is amazing for our needs - the outside patio has a stage (where all of the donation stuff will be located), I will have a mic, and we get to chose the music for the outdoor stereo. I will be creating a few CDs mixing all of the main acts of the show (including Neil)...but more Pj than anything else...heh heh.

I was nervous (and still am a bit) but after talking to her and seeing the place, I am sooo psyched!!!!!!!!!!!

I will likely be needing some help during the event to sell raffle tickets and keep me sane - lol. Our collective goal is to raise a minimum of $1200 to put at least one child through the Building Bridges program. If we do more than that, even better.

I will also have a poster board at the stage for all to sign with donations - the plan will be to total our fund raising efforts, post a not thanking Pj for their continued support, and show them what us, the fans, have done! ONce we have that, I would like to ask whomever is closest to the stage to hand it to the band when they come out!

THANKS for all of your words and support - I am looking forward to seeing you all.

PS - Friday will be great too - it's my opportunity to kick back, relax and ease into the excitement of the weekend!

for all virgins of Bridge School, Sunday night is where EVERY band comes out and plays w/Neil. It is pretty cool!!

*sighs* going to Bridge School will bring fond memories of my first time there back in 2003
