IMPORTANT: Cabs in Pittsburgh need to be called for .. it's not like NYC here. They aren't driving around waiting to pick you up. http://www.pghtrans.com/yellow_cab.cfm
Most of our bridges to get from town to the North Shore and Station Square have pedestrian walkways if you choose to walk.

Even though cabs aren't driving around to be hailed, if you're downtown just walk to a hotel. Most hotels have a few cabs in line waiting for fares and will gladly give you a ride.

Also don't forget, the giant rubber duck will be in town then. It's a 40 foot tall rubber duck that's part of an art exhibit. I believe it's gonna be by the clemente bridge when it's set up.

Yes, The Giant Duck Too ! I omitted the Giant Rubber Duck because I wasn't sure if it would still be in town ...but according to a post I just read..it will be here till late October for our Fall Festival of Firsts !!! Very cool! You can see it from Point State Park , the North Shore , the Ball fields and Convention Center. Thanks Ognit!

  • Is anyone thinking about going to see the PJ20 viewing the night before the concert at SouthSide Works ?

or how about the Ten the Tribute Band at the Hard Rock Cafe ? Both are Thursday night...the movie is at 7:30 and the band plays at 9:30 at the Hard Rock. Should be a kick ass evening. Reserve your tickets for both. The movie won't play here unless enough people reserve tickets.

Thank you for posting this. Please see the link below for the Pittsburgh Screening of PJ20:

It is $10.00 per reservation and we are (at current 4:10pm EST) 33 reservations away from making this a reality. I missed this at the closest place, Cleveland, first time around so please everyone join in participation - this will be awesome.

    Thanks 10 Club!
