Good things come to those who wait...I remember a couple of years ago when the 3-disc PJ20 DVD sold out quickly and people were selling/buying them on eBay for like $300...I was like, "Screw that, I'll wait to see if they ever re-release it." And they did, a year later, for like $30, and all the people who bought them on eBay were MAD!
I have a feeling that more of this poster will be released at a later date.Chicago 2000 : Chicago 2003 : Chicago 2006 : Summerfest 2006 : Lollapalooza 2007 : Chicago 2009 : Noblesville (Indy) 2010 : PJ20 (East Troy) 2011 : Wrigley Field 2013 : Milwaukee (Yield) 2014 : Wrigley Field 20160 -

Wow, can't believe all this drama is taking place over a poster sale.
Just take a deep breath and think about how all this stuff regarding merchandising is way out of proportion.
Enjoy life and enjoy the music!
Wishing all good luck with any upcoming sale.0 -
I'm glad I missed it!!! $50 in my pocket fuck yeah!!!!!0

can u imagine what will happened?
and what company sents 200.000 email and arrive all the same second??
and who said all will go normal and not to spam folders?
come on..cant happen for 100 posters..when will have normal sales, with plenty products they senting a email,we have the monthly one about news and merch..
random sale of 100 s/n posters cos the artist dont have his own shop,i think, was normal to do it random0 -
I can understand the difficulty and logistics of sending out 200,000 emails and alerting flippers..
But how about at least a thread post from Santos on the Porch giving people a heads up a day or so ahead of time. Yeah some people will miss that too but at least more will become aware of the sale rather than waking up monday morning to find they are already gone.
But then again it sold out in 10 min during a surprise sale, so if more were aware it would have sold out in 10 sec and more people who had been ready to get this would be upset.
I take solace that this was just the AP sale and they will most likely have standard versions up soon... Hopefully in a more fair, organized way of obtaining.http://www.reverbnation.com/open_graph/song/1783688

ofthegirl99 wrote:I love these random sales. Rewards the lunatics, self included, who sit here looking all day. Anyway, MOST people, many in this thread think its OK to buy this merch and flip it immediately for other merch. Somewhere along the way this became acceptable.......
If only we had a way to reward the lunatics when it comes to tickets... oh wait, we already had that... it was called "F5"!
You'll find this board is full of hypocrites, they think a lottery for tickets is fair, but a lottery for limited merchandise or venue entry is crazy talk. Then to your point, people go on and on about merchandise flippers, but think it is OK to trade something they didn't really want for the merchandise they do want. The same people love the lottery because "it's fair and get tickets in to more people's hands" then instead of selling their extra to someone who got shut out, they trade it to someone else who got lucky and get two shows. They've now got two shows, many have none.
What it really comes down to is most people are just selfish and want what is best for them. Sure they will claim it is about fairness, but don't walk the talk consistently.0 -

U guys really like this? I thought that besides the trading cards that the Wrigley merch kind of sucked.
Had this in my cart and absolutely could not pull the trigger. Probably the nicest of the four posters but they were all disappointing.0 -

I personally really liked the Emek poster most as soon as I saw it (and got it!), and it seems like i am in the minority on that one, but this one is okay. Kind of cute.... I think cracker jack is gross though, yet got a bag at Wrigley just out of storm delay desperation, and the "prize" was this really tiny stupid badly drawn sticker of a catcher - wasn't even as high quality as a bazooka Joe comic. I was pissed. So I am biased against this poster; reminds me of that shitty bag of cracker jack with the crap prize.
