Again I already have this poster. Just feels unfair and unequal to every member.

If they put a show on sale at 9am and it sold out by 9:10, and they didn't send an email, would you still say the same? That all emails wouldn't arrive at the same time?

10c does these kinds of sales pretty often and I have never seen everyone complain about it this much before. I guess it's not the principle of it, but simply that you wanted this particular item and didn't get it. but 100 people did. the same number of people that would have got it if there had been an email sent out, but it went a LOT more smoothly.
And this method does cut down on flipping, and that is the 10c's job to try and limit that if they can. this method helps.

I would imagine we'll have a chance to buy non-signed posters at a later date for a cheaper price. Probably for $35 - price at the show.

If he is just now, today ready to ship, they could have emailed and announced a sale anytime this week. They didn't have to say go on sale right now, because he is ready... That makes no sense. If he's ready today, doesn't mean they have to go on sale at the exact same time.

Also, 9 am Monday morning isn't exactly a random time. It's likely that is when people arrived to work for the week. That gives me the feeling that 9am Monday was the time they PLANNED to go on sale. Why not let people know when they make those plans??

Yeah, but at least they can say they sent them. IMO if there was 100,000,000 members and 5 posters an email or warning (I.E) sticky should be made.

It's not like they all the sudden decide today at blank time was the moment. I don't care if everyone gets the email at the same time. There's been many of days in the past this could have been sent.

So that the site crashes? None of you would have had any better a shot at getting this poster if an email was sent. These complaints are so pointless.

How is that a serious statement? So because the 10c site/server sucks,instead of fixing the problem they should avoid it by not allowing ALL PAYING members a shot at a hard to come product?

@ jamminpearls: ^^ It's a serious argument because the reality is that their servers CAN'T handle it. Whether or not they ought to fix it so that 50,000 people can all land on the site at once to battle for 100 posters in neither here nor there. It is simply the case that this is not currently possible, and therefore an email to everyone wasn't an option (but also would be stupid for other reasons anyway).
