Oasis 2001 in Frankfurt. Noel played an acoustic version of Bittersweet Symphony and it was the concert before Liam got his teeth knocked out in a hotel bar in Munich.

...and man, are there ever some incredible answers to this question.

All y'all who've seen the original GNR can go to Hell, by the way.

I agree. Just wish I was alive/older when some of these bands were in their hayday. I have been slowly crossing bands off my list to see before they disappear forever (Stones, Rush, the Who just to name a few).

I love the answers that mention: "I went to see ________(insert band name here)" and then add "I was ______(insert age here)"

In 1989, I went to see Huey Lewis and the News... I didn't know any better!

Well, I haven't seen this one yet:
Rick Springfield with Corey Hart opening (yeah, the guy who sang "I wear my sunglasses at night"...) at the Johnstown, PA War Memorial in 1983 (I think). I was in high school. :fp: :fp:

Rolling Stones w/ Spin Doctors at the Kingdome on Dec 15, 1994. I was 14, rode the train from Portland to Seattle with my dad for the show. Still one of the best shows I've been to. Incidentally, the Spin Doctors played the fair down here (Eugene) a week or two ago. My girlfriend wanted to go, I told her that as nostalgic as the idea made me feel, there was no way in hell the Spin Doctors were worth it (that bad. Truly, truly bad. And they dress like assholes too.) But I'd see the Stones again in a heartbeat.

As for PJ: first show was Portland in '98 with Frank Black and the Catholics. So stoked for them to hit the Rose Garden again in a few months...that's a nostalgia trip I wouldn't miss...
