I think it was Dave Matthews Band, but it might have been Emerson, Lake, and Palmer with Jethro Tull.

Not getting to see Queen w/Freddie and missing out on Zeppelin would be my biggest regret of the 70s-early 80s concert era.

Well, technically my first show was Bruce Cockburn at the local Tulip Festival when I was 12-13; my first real concert experience was B.B. King in '94, which was awesome. My first rock concert followed a few months later, Van Halen. I'm not a VH fan at all, but it was a good show.

Amy Grant. I was 12, I saved for six months, and forwent my favorite horse show to go!! My Dad shoulda know right then, that music was going to be a major obsession with me!! Saddest part? The concert tickets cost twice as much as entry/ boxing / tag fees for two horses! If I remember right, the kitted fees were two hundred, tickets cost me four!! I ended up seeing her in concert 8 times before I told God to fuck off. ( I'm back to my beliefs again, but I'd had enough of church people I guess). Then I found PJ. Seen them 19..loli'd say I have the live music bug!!

I saw Metallica open for Ozzy Osbourne back in the mid 80s. I was 10 or so. Can't remember the year but it was before Metallica blew up for sure. I wasn't really a fan but it was my first.
