i think deepak chopra said something like..... happiness based on reasons is a form of misery. it can be taken away at any moment. your happiness is fragile and based on externals. happiness without reasons is real happiness/bliss, and can never be taken away.
i have found that my recent happiness has been based on externals, and its gone away.
i don't think i have ever had happiness without reason. and that kind of bothers me.."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln
"Well, you tell him that I don't talk to suckas."0 -
The show last night was fun!! Hanging with fellow Pearl Jam people at a Mudhoney show is always a good time!!None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe that they are free.

Stop looking for reasons, relax and happiness will come to you. Like old Abe Lincoln said: Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be.
I think my motto would be something along these lines
"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort."

Here's to a happy Saturday!yeah tho im not by nature a happy person, I love this quote. and I agree with relaxing and allowing the happiness to come to you. after what can only be described as a roller coaster last few years I did step back this year and right now im in a good place... any time I smile for no reason is either a good thing... or cause for alarm.. right now im opting for the former.
