ive seen Primus do this with their frizzle fry album. first the played a set consisting of songs from other albums then ended the show by playing the entire album all the way through. i think its a great idea and would love to see pj do it for binaraul since its the album ive seen the least amount of songs live.

    YIELD.

    You are correct.

    Yield or Riot Act.

    wtf

YIELD or riot act? A statement like that could set the end of the world into motion.

Of course I value your opinion. It's what makes you wrong and me right.

Actually, if PJ did play Avacado tonight in its entirety, it wouldn't be the first time they've performed an album that way...

Look back at March 13th, 1992 at the Nachtwerk in Munich, GER on the final night of their European Tour.

Pearl Jam played their first album in its entirety IN ORDER for the main set, and even threw in "I've Got a Feeling" for the encore, and it was only their fourth or fifth time working through RITFW.

Only about 800 souls were there to witness it, however. What became of them?!

The band came close to getting all of VS. on a couple of occasions, and they played all of the first couple of albums at the April 3rd, 1994 show in Atlanta, save two songs: "Oceans" and "Leash"...

The "concepts, not performance pieces" on VITALOGY, YIELD, or RIOT ACT would make it almost impossible for the band to play them in their entirety. Plus there are songs like "I'm Open" and "No Way" that they've only played a couple of times live in the history of their career.

Vitology would be great, Bugs ,Foxy Mop ect.
Shit I Wouldn't care if they just played Foxy during the enc break but Ed doing Bugs live would just be fun.
I need a fix 'cause I'm going down

Maybe this is because of dvd montages????? be realistic....everything has a reason.....imagine if the italian dvd consists of the same songs as the touring band f.e.

I for one am happy they played the entire new album in order. After all, this is the Avocado tour and it's a kickass album.

But the thing that's really pissing me off is Tremor Christ! We missed it by one show, so frickin' unlucky!!!

You must have special powers. Man, what a thread to start just before it happens. Perhaps i should start a thread titled. 'would Eddie Vedder come to my house for a jam session?' and see what happens!

I think I'd go with ten - it's the best layout of any of the albums IMO and each song seems to lead perfectly into the next.

I'm sure someone has already pointed this out, but, just in case, Pearl Jam played Ten in its entirety at their 13 March 1992 Munich gig.
