I officially concede this competition after last night. It's been a great time, though. I only wish my wife had had the idea of following along and playing live versions of each song sooner!0

I'll be paying attention to Seattle....need Marker in the Sand and Rival for the win
I would like to also put out there that all original players and conference should have first invite right to refuse on this fantasy league on upcoming tours.Im sure the new fantasy sensation sweeping 10c nation will be highly sought after,so just holding future spot.0 -

Absolutely. We make as many conferences as necessary. It would probably be equitable to keep everyone with "experience" together.0 -

New CAMERON Leaderboard after Calgary:
230 BN8419 - roster complete - 30 duplicates
223 Phillycrownofthorns - roster complete - 37 duplicates
212 Evilclosetmonkey - needs KICK OUT THE JAMS - 22 duplicates
211 PJ_Soul - needs OF THE EARTH - 23 duplicates
209 Eeriepadave - needs GONNA SEE MY FRIEND - 25 duplicates
206 MusicDude415 - needs OLE - 28 duplicates
199 Neutron Baum - needs FORCE OF NATURE - 35 duplicates
193 rr165892 - needs GHOST, WMA - 15 duplicates
182 Gern Blansten - needs GODS DICE, MARKER IN THE SAND, RIVAL - 0 (ZERO) duplicates
175 Kurto26 - needs BUGS, LOVE BOAT CAPTAIN - 33 duplicates
168 MJServs806r - needs MANKIND, BROTHER, GREEN DISEASE - 14 duplicates
157 PJ23 - needs HUNGER STRIKE, BREAKERFALL, U - 25 duplicates
3rd through 6th is tightening up, all jockeying to be in position to take over the lead if that one perfect song is played. Even Neutron Baum in 7th is not completely out of it with the right songs in the last two shows. rr156892 and Kurto still have a long shot at it as well...
Gern is still holding on to a perfect record, but time is running out for the remaining three....
BIG SHAKEUP in CAMERON conference after Vancouver. We got debuts for Gonna See My Friend, and Kick Out the Jams, completing the rosters for Eeriepadave and Evilclosetmonkey. Breakerfall also debuted.
This puts Evilclosetmonkey in the drivers seat, but it looks like there will be a fight with PJ Soul, who only needs Of The Earth. Ed told the crowd last night that they would play this in Seattle. There would be then one point separating these two teams, and it depends on which remaining songs on each roster gets played (as long as Ed follow through on his promise!) It could very well come down to a tie breaker!
Both Eeriepadave and Gern Blansten are lurking in the wings now as possible stretch run upsetters. Both have reachable gaps to overcome if the setlist comes in their favor.
Unfortunately Gern Blansten lost his potential perfect score, but did pick up God's Dice, meaning there's still a chance for Gern to win the conference, but he needs both Marker in the Sand and Rival in Seattle, or some big breaks if he only gets one of these, that's still possible as well.
All others appear to be out of the running now. I guess there' a mathematical possibility for BN (me), musicdude, rr15682, and PJ23, but i think we all would need a miracle.

Marker in the Sand into Rival to close out the tour0

Like they say in baseball, being relevant on the last day of the season is fun.
It's a huge long shot, but I could still win if the following happens tomorrow night:
-no repeats for me (Why Go and Go haven't been as bad as GTF, but together they're killing me)
-a setlist that features at least 4 of the following:
Spin The Black Circle
All Those Yesterdays
Smile
Tremor Christ
I Got ID
Breakerfall
Supersonic
Once
Unemployable
Life Wasted
-a setlist that features at least 5 of the following:
Brain of J
Sometimes
Light Years
Immortality
You Are
Blood
Fuckin' Up
Whipping
Kick Out The Jams
Gonna See My Friend
I win the tiebreaker with both of those guys (yay!).
Regarding the above, I'll ask and answer these questions out loud to myself:
"Could I see the band playing at least 9 of the above songs, with the critical 4/5 split among each group?"
"Sure."
"Will I get that lucky, especially on a tour where the set lists have been extremely varied in most respects?"
"No fucking way."
So like I said, I've got no realistic shot.
My pick for the GOSSARD Conference win: Black Diamond and Eddies In My Tree tie at 236, with the tiebreaker going to Eddies In My Tree!
All in all, it's been extremely fun doing this. I'm definitely in for next tour.1998-06-30 Minneapolis

thats for Gern Blansten
My scenario is fairly simple assuming Of The Earth goes down:
I need Force of Nature to be Played with no Hold On
If both get played, I will need 2 of Sparky Fry's other songs played (or Hold on twice). Most likely any combination of Dissident, Crown of Thorns, and MFC.
If both Education and Force of Nature are played, I will be tied with EdVed. I own the tie breaker so it may come down to whether or not they play Whipping or Sleight of Hand knocking me off the top.0 -
I need none of my songs played AND
realistically...
For them NOT to play BOTH Mankind AND I'm Open...
If they play any of my songs I open myself to multiple losing scenarios since my tiebraker situation is not positive.0 -
