    Hey Guys,

I have been working on a google docs scoresheet. HERE is the View Only link. :)

Let me know what you think. I put in 4 songs as 'played' on the first show to demonstrate the functionality. Mostly everything is automated with formulas except for marking the songs as 'played'. I figured that each song/show should have an individual row/column to keep it very visible to avoid confusion/double updating, etc.

If anyone has any suggestions I can try to implement them or I have no problem allowing people editing access and you can try yourself. :)

Has anyone been working on another scoresheet? Is this good or do we want to go in a different direction?

Yeah, that looks almost perfect and was what I was imagining 'wiring up'. FYI, that is editable.

very cool. Maybe a little touch-up. Make it look pretty and we really do only need to wait and watch.

Whoa, that is awesome Frank! I can't see why that doesn't work just fine.... Although I notice that up near the top there a song was played 4 times but the score doesn't seem to include the 4th point (but maybe you just haven't entered the formulas beyond the third show column yet). Anyway, fucking awesome - thanks for putting that together!

I'll have to take a look at it later tonight/tomorrow. I thought it was good to go, so this is weird.. I know it looks awesome, but I'm not promising that it will be perfect. I found and corrected several bugs, but there maybe more that I haen't found yet. I would definitely check your score periodically to make sure its calculating correctly.

Has anyone been working on another scoresheet? Is this good or do we want to go in a different direction?

    -Frank

You were right, the formula for adding up the number of times played was only extended to column L. Fixed now!

Besides prizes for the winners how about a punishment for whoever comes in last?

Like you have to wear a pair of the PJ board shorts to the next concert?

the 1st page of the thread has a random order generator. You just type the names in and it will make a random order...

Spoke to my friend Gabe and he is 100% down.

Sure, I just thought I'd get it rolling, so far I am waiting for 5 replies with email, and prize data. I'll follow up with those people again. FrankieG offered to add us to the score sheet.

YES, I could, but really the hard part is already done it sounds like, just making contact, confirming all 12 players, and documenting the prize pledges. You will probably end up a couple short, based on the last experience. The only other step is creating the google doc to track the picks.

Lejarmap138 - You can keep it moving and I'll be your advisor, how about that? ;) When you're ready, I'll zero out the google doc and share it with you so you have the format all set.
