What a shame. Especially when it's been hot as hell with no rain at all for the past week (at least here on the East Coast it's been like that). I had a bad feeling about this show from the moment it was announced. Not sure why. Not that I was thinking weather. But weather/power failure/sound problems/murders....I just had a feeling there'd be some sort of detour. Hopefully, they get to extend the curfew well into the night for the people there and they get a good full show. All they've gotten at this point is a 7 song set. And possibly, the most boring 7 song set you can imagine. Nothingman, Come Back, Low LIght, Small Town....wake me when it's over.

"Music for me is one of the more healing art forms. I think anybody can put on a pair of headphones and put in a disk or play a record and have it change them." - Jeff
Lightning and thunder. Maybe it will get on by quickly! Some of the folks I know who are there say people are getting anxious and discussing leaving. Hope this thing turns back positive quickly!
Everybody chill...It is a quick moving front and then that will be it.
Might be advisable to look at the radar before saying that. It was within range of Chicago when they stopped the show, and it's only just reaching Wrigley. They'll have to wait a half-hour after the last nearby strike to let people out on the field, and it'll take a half-hour to get them out there. It'll be 10:45-11:00pm minimum before they can start the show again.
Weirdly, it just started lightning outside my window right as the weather started hitting the webcam, and I'm nowhere near Chicago.
1 open bottle of Faithfull Ale
1 in fridge
7 more...
Not drinking all tonight tho. I'd like to save one for a fan that hasn't seen the movie yet. I figure...movie and beer...yummy...
hilarious, yep pace yourself

You know damn good and well, once they return to the stage, they're pulling ALL the stops.
Yes no doubt, if curfew ISNT a issue then the rain delay is going to BENEFIT Everyone! Just adds to the atmosphere and intensity of the night... ED and the BAND will not leave that stage for the night without knowing they Made history yet again

murders? seriously?
61 murders in the past month, man. Dangerous place. Especially for out-of-towners near the ballpark. I dunno, other than Michael Jordan and Perfect Strangers, I've always felt that the city of Chicago just gave off bad vibes.
not near wrigley. far too wealthy for cops to allow that stuff. black on black murder on the west or south side is different
I think they were aware of the potential delay, hence they had a lot of love for Hoosier to play Come Back. Seems like it's something they'd save for later in the show otherwise.

All that I once held as true
I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.
Yes. Just a girl. Only played...what?? Twice?
There was the first show that I think TFT says "only played once" but that isn't true.
Like I mentioned before though, if it is enforced anywhere it would have to be there.
Total bummer for those there :(
