What a shame. Especially when it's been hot as hell with no rain at all for the past week (at least here on the East Coast it's been like that). I had a bad feeling about this show from the moment it was announced. Not sure why. Not that I was thinking weather. But weather/power failure/sound problems/murders....I just had a feeling there'd be some sort of detour. Hopefully, they get to extend the curfew well into the night for the people there and they get a good full show. All they've gotten at this point is a 7 song set. And possibly, the most boring 7 song set you can imagine. Nothingman, Come Back, Low LIght, Small Town....wake me when it's over.

    murders? seriously?

I guess now we know why the first set was so killer:

You can expect more of the same when they come back. It will be shorter, but epic!!!

This is too bad; maybe they could have started earlier but I don't think playing late's an option there. The obvious thing would be just to reschedule for tomorrow night but I'm sure it's easier said then done...
    Another concert at Wrigley tomorrow

This is a tragedy for everyone... fans... and band.

With respect to you, tragedy is losing nine people at a show with wet ground. This is a minor hiccup and an excuse to take a bathroom break.

I'm worried about the people in Europe, they stayed up late for this and now it is delayed, the sun beams are soon to appear in their windows, fortunately it's saturday...

Anyone else enjoy the irony of Pearl Jam announcing their new album, Lightning Bolt, only for a severe lightning storm to come along and f*ck up their show?

What's funny is my wife thought Ed sang "I'd rather be with a Lightning Bolt" (bless her) instead of animal.

It was pretty amusing when I saw the album title.

I would have paid the admission cost just for the set we have heard. Hold On is one of my favorite all time songs, and Lowlight is the last song from Yield I need to hear live, and Yield is my favorite album ever.

Anyways, I hope everyone is safe.

61 murders in the past month, man. Dangerous place. Especially for out-of-towners near the ballpark. I dunno, other than Michael Jordan and Perfect Strangers, I've always felt that the city of Chicago just gave off bad vibes.
