I figured it must've been, b/c I went 'all or none' on Brooklyn and Dallas, and got first choice Brooklyn (other 3 Brooklyns were thus denied), then got priority 2 on Dallas (priority 1 Dallas denied). That's all I went for. My member number is 125xxx. Either that, or I was just lucky.
Seniority was not factored into the lottery at all. All 10c members, regardless of number, had the same odds of winning the lottery. However after the lottery was decided, seniority will determine location of Reserved seats.
The lottery itself was random. Once random winners were selected, seats are based on seniority.

Q: Do you still do seniority seating?
A: Yes. For Pear Jam shows tickets we still assign seated tickets based on seniority.
Q: For Pearl Jam shows, do you still randomly assign rows 1-2 and 9-10 in front of the stage?
A: If the seats go all the way up to the barricade in front of the stage, we will still assign those 4 rows randomly. If there is a pit immediately in front of the stage, and seated rows behind the standing section, then we will not randomly assign those rows.Check out My PJ live show stats from LiveFootsteps.org0 -
I'm curious to see how many people put in 6 choices and didn't win any of them. Or am I simply an extremely unlucky bastard?0

If you put in for more GA than RES, it is safe to assume that your odds were worse simply because there are less GA tickets. Also, while there was no way of knowing for certain, if you put in for shows that had high interest, such as Brooklyn or Seattle, your odds were even worse because of supply & demand. Finally, if you put in for both of the Brooklyn or Philly shows you could only win one show, again diminishing your odds.
Please realize I made a lot of assumptions here to illustrate the point that variables made certain entries less "lucky"; I apologize if none of them match your lottery entry. I sincerely hope you are able to score tickets. It seems many were able to for Wrigley & London even at the last minute without getting "scalped".
Good luck!!Check out My PJ live show stats from LiveFootsteps.org0 -
I also missed out on Wrigley, even flew out there to find a scalper, cheapest I could find was $600 a piece. So I listened to the first 7 songs outside standing in the advance ticket sales, they released a few more tickets and closed the window for good with me 3rd in line. I got drenched and then me and my wife decided to call it a night. Even still, I'm glad I went, lots of fun.0

Technically, the only time this practice reduces your odds of winning a show is if you won one in that venue already. If you lose out on Philly 1, you still have the exact same odds to win Philly 2. If you won Philly 1, you have zero chance at Philly 2.
Since this guy won nothing, even if he had put in for both shows at a venue, it wouldn't have contributed to him being shutout.
