For those looking for a hotel, I just booked the Holiday Inn downtown (Delaware Ave) for $164 per night on the official site. The price had been $230 and just dropped.

Just called and they are now sold out  Thanks for the heads up though

My advice on the hotels is to keep checking. People always cancel here or there. Yesterday I had the Hampton Inn for $229, didn't pounce on it and it was gone within the hour.

Keep checking whenever you get a chance and something will turn up at some point.

No, but I think I am one of the lucky ones who got Buffalo with their #2 choice.

Agreed even with the Bills playing at home if they come out of the gate sucking balls some people might cancel their trip. Good luck in the hotel hunt see you guys there.

Niagara Falls, Amherst, Cheektowaga, North Tonawanda are all decent driving distances to the arena.

Saw them in Cleveland and Buffalo last NA tour.

Hoping for Pittsburgh in public sale next Saturday. Got last 2 rooms at BEST WESTERN PLUS The Inn of Lackawanna 5 miles away but hoping for some downtown hotel availability opens up.

Saw them in London, July 16 with my buddy's TC tics (400XXX) cause I lost that lottery. Glad to win for Buffalo Reserved seats. Hoping for some good side stage seats reserved!

    Bring on October!

Okay, I now realize why I was able to book a room and others weren't. I booked for 2 nights, as I am going to the Bills game on Sunday. If you book for 2 nights, the Holiday Inn downtown is STILL available. I'm not sure how that works if you book for 2 nights and cancel the second night later; but definitely something to look into...

I was also able to book the Holiday Inn downtown for 2 nights (Sat/Sun) and was told by the front desk staff that they won't reserve rooms for a single night when everything in town is booked solid. But I agree with above-keep checking for available hotel rooms! Something is bound to become available.
With that being said, I know nothing about Buffalo. Suggestions are welcomed!

Go to Duff's in Amherst it's wing place. There is the Anchor Bar which is okay but I prefer Duffs. You want the Duffs in Amherst that's the one to hit.

Ilio Dipaolos in Blasdell is awesome it is an Italian restaurant and it is very affordable. It's south of downtown but worth the drive if you have a car. If you leave this restaurant hungry it's your own damn fault.

Anchor Bar is okay it's where the chicken wing started. Stay away from suicide sauce if you can't handle hot sauces.

Pearl Street bar and grille is awesome as well. Looks like the pre party might be there though.

If this is your first time to WNY make sure to try a Beef on Wec you will not regret it.

Needless to say, if you haven't been, and the weather is decent, you should see the falls.

No anchor bar. Duffs is 1000x better. Anyone in wny would agree. There is a joint called gabriels gate that is supposedly awesome.

Bills games are a blast. Relatively inexpensive...and a colossal tailgate and atmosphere.

You're right about Anchor Bar Mayday but if you're a tourist it's a place to go.

Mookie when I go to Bills game I usually park in a private lot on Southwestern Blvd it right next to a place called Louie's Texas RedHots last time I went it was 25 to park but they open their lot earlier than the stadium lot's and it's right next to the stadium. Google maps has the lot addressed as 3900 U.S 20. When me and my cousin go we are usually there at 8am which is a great time to go.

I would suggest to be at whatever lot you choose to park no later than 10 as traffic will become outrageous.

I'll be there early no doubt. I've been to a few Bills games before, but this will be my first time driving to the stadium on my own. Do they still allow everyone to walk around freely with open containers or has that changed? Also, I am sure this is true for the private lot, but do the stadium lots let you grill in the lots? I am assuming as in most stadiums they do.

I will be honest I have not been to a game for about 3 or 4 years. Just got fed up with spending good money only to watch a shit team.

With that said in all my years of going and being an adult I have never had a cop say anything to me about open container. Yeah you can grill in the stadium lots. I see people all over the place with grills.
