So, if we didn't have enough going on the day of the show (turkey hangover, merch lines, ticket window lines, GA lines, pre-parties, Wishlist Foundation, Black Friday shopping, football games and, oh yeah, the actual show) it is also Record Store Day. Our cups runneth over. Gonna have to pick & choose our battles. :D Getting very excited now with the tour about to start.

The very first Record Store Day happened back on April 19, 2008 .. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Record_Store_Day .

The first Black Friday Record Store Day was on November 26, 2010. Since then we get 2 RSD events per year! :D

Mississippi Records is really unique... they are also sort of a label who releases great stuff like local hero Michael Hurley and weird world-music folk stuff and punk rock.

For those looking for the good record stores in Portland (or other cities), please consult vinylrecordcollector.net. Funny enough,Portland is pretty much the best city in the country for vinyl. There is a record store guide that is available in most of the stores. Happy hunting!
