Vinyl shipping to NZ is only US$5.64 so are they seriously asking US$8.01 to ship the CD within the US? Something's fucked up!

I agree there. I know they do the green shipping route now with zero carbon...but that still can't be 8 bucks...

I definitely feel your pain. Up until they made these shipping changes (last year?) I only ordered exclusives from the website.. I was always looking to see if the same item would be for sale somewhere else. Now shipping is pretty affordable and I'm a bit more liberal with ordering via 10c than say Amazon.

I was shocked to see the Stone vinyl just arrived 2 day's ago. That was pretty fast shipping! :shock:

I love when UPS hands down goodies to Canada Post. So good!!! Though when UPS ships an item from USA to UPS Canada, so not right!!

All these year's buying from the Vitalogy Health Club (via mail in orders) / 10club (online store), we used to argue about the high shipping cost & long wait times for many MANY year's for international shipping. I guess now it's finally paid off for us! :thumbup: Items are coming in fast & the shipping cost is .. SWEEET!!!!!!

Does the CD purchase also come with the digital download?

I'll prolly do as someone else suggested and buy the cd at Bestbuy at release since they always release cd's at like $10. Ill save my 10c money for merch. My 4 year old son starts pre-school this fall and he needs some new PJ swag to go with his new mohawk

Eh. Gave me a reason to order Stones cd which I couldn't find at my best buy. Made shipping like $4.50 for each. I always get my 10c CDs before release day, so it's worth it to be lazy.

It is kind of ridiculous, but whatever.

it does with the vinyl. I know bc i bought it...the cd maybe, i didn't buy it cuz i get the free digi lol

for $8 it had better be an air or air equivalent service their using. in fact, based on the release and trying to get the cd's in our hands on release date i bet they are doing just that.

i hope they are working out a distribution plan which takes the cd's and injects them into either ups or usps system at the hub level for next day delivery. can be done and they will still make a little profit on the s & h...

Shipping to NZ used to be shocking but has been a lot better for the last year or so.

just pre ordered cd to australia shipping was $5.64 total cost $18.65 thats cheaper than if i went into the shops to buy it also loving mind your manners gets better with every listen

I live in Argentina. I remember paying 14 bucks for PJ20 vinyl, and 11 for White Backspacer vinyl. I paid only 5.17 for Vault #3, and 5.38 for Lightning Bolt vinyl + CD. I always buy Pearl Jam's CDs from the 10C, they are different from what we get from the US, Europe or made in my country. 10C releases are way much better...

I couldn't say why you are charged 8.01 to ship a CD, I don't understand why don't make it 8 even. Are sales taxes and/or state taxes included in those 8.01?

That might be a good point. Some states do charge tax on online purchases and others don't. Maybe they're trying to find an equal balance?

$8.01 shipping for 10C vinyl only.
$8.01 shipping for 10C CD only.
$9.51 shipping for both.


Still not right. They could send it through Media Mail for probably half that price, but I bet it's still easier on their end to send everything out through the same method.

I'd take that or a fix to the shipping issues for The US to make it more realistic. We still have 80+ days to pre-order so I'm holding out a bit hoping it is resolved before. Not holding my breathe...but hoping.
