Buy the digital version, only $3 to ship!"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0

I guess I'll be going with Amazon and free release day shipping. No chance I'm paying $21 for a CD.I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.0

maybe a carbon offset charge; that would be like them
. i only order the digital now anyway because i look at the book once and throw it in a drawer

I believe the 10c was at one point looking at something that would resolve the shipping. I'm going to wait as I have 90 some days so hopefully the shipping rates change and come down somewhat. I'm all for being the team player and giving the 10c my money instead of Target or Best Buy but yes, the shipping is still an issue. I have trust they will resolve it and make it more cost friendly0

$4.26 to ship the Vinyl & CD to Canada!
I got my Stone Gossard LP the other day. It ships UPS innovations? They must take to close to the border, hand it off to USPS, who hands it off to Canada Post. I have no idea how it get's done so cheap.
I definitely feel your pain. Up until they made these shipping changes (last year?) I only ordered exclusives from the website.. I was always looking to see if the same item would be for sale somewhere else. Now shipping is pretty affordable and I'm a bit more liberal with ordering via 10c than say Amazon.0 -

I'll probably pre-order the vinyl via 10C and get the MYM download that way, but I'll probably buy the CD for the car locally the day it comes out. Best Buy or Zia's (regional record store) will typically have it on sale and sometimes throw in a bonus. I have no problem helping to keep other people employed in addition to the 10C crew...no offense of course!Osaka, Japan (2/21/95), San Diego (7/10/98), Las Vegas (10/22/00), San Diego (10/25/00), Las Vegas (6/6/03), Las Vegas (7/6/06), Los Angeles (7/9/06), VH1 Rock Honors (7/12/08), Ed Solo (7/8/11), Ed Solo (11/1/12), Los Angeles (11/23/13)0 -
$9.61 to ship a CD and vinyl to Ohio. I agree shipping costs are expensive here, but I do enjoy getting the albums a few days before release. The last two albums I received either the Thursday or Friday before release date."There's a $10,000 bill in it for you."
"Oh yeah? Which president's on it?"
"Uh, all of them. They're having a party. Jimmy Carter's passed out on the couch."

I always try to be a team player and already ordered the damn CD because I'm so freaking excited for this album. But my sister is an independent recording artist and I mail out every CD that she sells. It costs 2.36/cd to mail. When "Big Oil" and "Big Business" price gouge people, Eddie and the band will rant about it onstage. But when Tim Bierman does it, I guess it's ok. And btw Tim, the website is still inept when more than 150 people are on it....nice job.
But to end on a positive note, Mind Your Manners is killer and I love this band!0 -

They've been "looking into the shipping costs" for years. I've unfortunately been burned by Ten Club too many times to buy anything from them that's available elsewhere. The last thing I bought from them was Mad Season. It was mailed in a thin padded envelope.... It's in a paper case, so of course it came crushed. Two tracks were also skipping but after two emails I just gave up and exchanged it at Best Buy. Every time I've order vinyl from TC, it comes a week late and damaged from their shotty packaging. I had to exchange my Backspacer vinyl 3 times from damage before I gave up. Take my advise, buy from soundstagedirect.com. You'll have it the day it releases, no tax, no shipping and in mint condition.0 -

It was last November (2012) when they posted on this board that they were looking into it. But apparently they just don't give a damn. It should be an embarrassment to the band and the fan club. It is just plain stupid.hippiemom = goodness0 -
Shipping costs are only outrageous for one country out of hundreds in the world. Not much of an issue

Yeah, that's pretty ridiculous for 1 CD. They need to get their shipping figured out.0 -

I look at it this way. Now that a Tower Records isn't on the next corner, it becomes an expedition for me. This is time traveling to some place, dealing with parking, gas, etc. No fun. Plus, the 10c edition gets something extra. Not sure what but something. I'm looking at it like roomservice in a hotel. They charge a service fee and I guess that's pretty steep. But the convenience (plus the extra) is well worth it. I don't want to be hassling some Target or BestBuy.Up here so high I start to shake, Up here so high the sky I scrape, I've no fear but for falling down, So look out below I am falling now, Falling down,...not staying down, Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down, Drown in the river0
