Flying in from Orlando and taking the Sprinter bus from the airport to the Charlotte CTA which is right across the street. Can't wait! Anyone know if the reserved seats will be floor & 100's or will it include 200's also?

Nice! My first rock concert was PJ at Summerfest in Milwaukee in 1995, AND I was 17 at the time also! Damn, I'm feelin' old now. Luckily for me though, it wasn't on a school night. If you need someone to write you an excuse for classes on Wednesday, we'll work something out for ya at the pre-party.

So very excited for this show. I've been in Charlotte for 11 years now and love how the city has transformed itself over that time. It really is a great town and I hope that 10 club visitors will enjoy their stay in our fair city.

My buddy Mike from Chicago (who I met at PJ20) will be making the trip out here and we'll be in the reserved seats (which by my count based on the arena schematic on Ticketmaster, there are 764 seats behind GA on the floor).

Can't wait for Oct 30th. It will be my 10th show.

I scored reserved! Will be flying into Atlanta to hook up with my college roommate on the 29th and drive to the show the morning of the 30th. She has never seen them before so she can't wait although she is just a casual fan. After going to Wrigley, I'm super stoked!! How much did the room at the Omni cost on priceline? Set up reservations there the day the tour was announced but it is a bit pricey even at the AAA rate.

Attending with 2 reserved seats won from the 10C lottery. The show falls on my 40th birthday, and I am super stoked!!! However, I am seeking 2 GA, as I would like to be closer to my boys for my special night!!! PLEASE contact me if anyone has spare GA for this show...THX!!!

No shortage of places in Uptown. With that said, I would recommend City Smoke. If we are going out somewhere after work for drinks, that is always our go to choice. Plus, it is only a couple of blocks from the arena.

I'm there with lower bowl seats. Not as great as they would've been if Ticketmaster hadn't screwed me over, but I am just happy to be in the building.

Last time I was there it was for a 2009 Springsteen show and a bunch of us tailgated in a parking lot.

Right across from Time Warner is a mixed use project called the Epicenter. It's right across the street and has a parking deck that will probably be about $20. There are several bars in the Epicenter that are pretty nice...here's a breakdown of the vibe in each.

1) Wild Wing Café - Casual Bar/Restaurant. Big space, good food and a huge bar area...They have an awesome long table that seats about 20 right beside the bar that would make an awesome party table. (full disclosure. I worked for these guys for many years and am partial. Could probably get pre-party organizers in touch with the powers that be if they are interested in making this an official venue)

2) Black Finn - Upscale Casual, two story bar/restaurant. Upstairs bar area is pretty f$%^ing awesome.

3) Strike City - Bowling Alley/Bar...place is huge as is the bar. Cool spot. Libretto's next door services this place with the best pizza in the city IMHO.

4) Whiskey River - Full on bar owned by Dale Jr. (or at least it used to be). Think club...has a mechanical bull.

5) Howl at the Moon - Dueling Piano bar. cool spot, large bar...better late night when everyone is drunk.

Just outside of the Epicenter area you have:

1) Carolina Ale House - 2 Blocks away...good food, nice bar, above average beer selection
2) Connely's on Fifth - 3 Blocks away...Irish Bar...good, typical irish bar
3) Dandelion Market - 4 blocks away ... I dig this place. Another Irish-type bar...better than Connely's IMHO.
4) Queen City Q - 4 blocks away...good grub, decent bar

Short car drive away:
1) NoDa - hip neighborhood, good selection of bars and restaurants
2) Plaza Midwood - good restaurants, some nice bars. I actually like this area better than NoDa.
3) Montford - one street with great bars and restaurants.

Oh man.. BOWLING. Yeah I'm in. I have an extra 10C Reserved 179XXX ticket. Looking for a place to crash! Especially if you have to fly out of Charlotte the next day or are close to some public transportation!
