    About to head out from RVA with my 16 yr old in tow. I can't wait to see her reaction to all the crazy fans and the show.

    Is there something to eat within a quick walk? We will be arriving at about 5:30pm and want to park, get tickets and a bite.

    Also, when picking up wristbands, can I actually leave the property, or is there a corral than everyone with wristbands has to stay in?

    What's the parking situation?

    Just noticed TM sells parking passes for $13.50. I assume we could just buy them there when entering parking?

    ...and is the event parking lot currently open?

    won't be there, but a friend from high school (class of 92) will be, her first pearl Jam show. she will be there with her teenage sons. Hope the show lives up tot he expectations I have created for her

    I've heard that it doesn't open until 5:30 because it is a UVA lot.

    Honestly, the preparty at Sedona looks like your overall best bet.
    Things are usually a clusterfuck and I'm usually not there.
    But the location looks to be the best it gets to grab beer and food and walk to the show.

    If u r doing the lot, some guy said he called the venue yesterday and they told him he COULD get in BEFORE five.
    But that is heresay.

    There is a cash lot and a permit lot. Pull into the permit lot and park, buy a pass for 10 bucks at the box office, and then show it to the parking dude. A number of people are setting up some tailgates and drinking in the lot. There are also some ports potties in the back of the lot.

    I was able to pull into the cash lot to park and go pick up a poster and my tickets, then left.
