The Joe is a total dump. There are no good bars or restaurants anywhere near there.

There is absolutely no good reason for anyone to want to even go there.

Everyone should just stay away. Change your choices & select another city.

In all honesty though, Detroit is not going to be fun for out-of-towers. Only hotels down there are the casinos, so expensive. No public transport, so gotta drive to the Joe.

Very true, went to downtown Detroit for a Bears game a few years back. Downtown is totally desolate & depressing, especially on the weekends. The area was busy during the game, then everyone went home to their houses in the burbs. Nothing to do downtown near Joe Louis unless you like gambling in crappy casinos. You're probably better staying in Windsor, CA.

I wouldn't say the casinos are crappy.. They are very nice. I may go see some cards after the show

Likewise, arrive mid-day and depart right after.

Anyone know where to buy fireworks in Detroit?
American fireworks are always better than the crap we get in Ontario.

No love for Detroit in a LONG time. EV had to be dragged to Detroit by Chris C to play a solo show. Wonder what happened that made PJ and EV want to diss Detroit every tour.

Congratulations Detroit you have now got your Love :P
