i really liked "present tense" as an opener at borgata 2...ofcourse, "sometimes" was an awesome opener the first time i saw the band back in 96..

i think wash would be great but i've never had it as an opener so i wouldn't know. i've only had lbc and release. which both are great. i like the lbc/last exit combo. followed by a side of animal.

Have only had Release as an opener, and I'll testify to it's beauty and power as an opener, but from my chronic bootleg listening addiction...Wash is my favorite.
Although....I'd LOVE to stare upon a pitch black stage, feeling Master and Slave rip through my body only to have to boys stick it to me with Once.

Waited 6 years to hear "Release" as the opener, yep, it's the best way to start a show. Was lucky enough, however to get "Of the Girl" this year as well.
I am so fucking sick of Release... if there was one song I would never have to hear again (after Corduroy and Even Flow) at a show it would be Release...
There are about 200 songs in the PJ catalogue that I would rather hear first... so let's get rid of Release and play everything but that.
