    I'll throw in my vote for Release also.

    Just such a great slow, opening guitar arpeggio... building to the yell/sing 'RELEASE ME!!!!!'. I always loved the buildup to those words... kind of a 'release' of everyone's voices for the night to come...

    Loved it in the 'burgh as the opener.


    Also, of the new stuff... I like the Life Wasted Reprise => Life Wasted as the opener.

    i do love release, but i have seen that a number of times. my favorite in person was severed hand. but would love to see oceans. but would really love to see something unexpected like lukin or big wave.

    Saw Wash twice, loved it the first time, hated it the second.... So I'll go with Release. Loved it the only time I saw it.

    I like release, but it's either Oceans or Of the Girl for me. Although, I have always wanted to see them open with Go in person. I know they did it a couple times, I just haven't seen it for myself.

    Would like to hear "Inside Job" as an opener...great slow jam turning into a nice uptempo jam "It's an inside job today"...love that and kudos to mike for writing it.

    I think Release makes for a hell of an opener... but I was really taken aback at how cool Severed Hand was at the Gorge 2 show! Just the way they have that opening intro play for two minutes as the band comes on stage and gets ready, slowly building up the momentum, then just kick-starting the concert with this awesome song. Every time I hear the song now I kind of wish that beginning intro was two minutes long just because it gets me so pumped up!

    I think I saw indifference somewhere along the way (96 DC maybe?) as their opener. Not a song I would have picked out of the bunch, but a solid choice for sure :)

    Release would be awesome too, I never have caught that one live.

    Release gets my vote. The first notes of stone's guitar blaring in your ears is so sweet. Then the lights slowing coming up during "release meeeeeeee" is unbelievable.
