RHCP wears diapers on stage??? All of them?? Whaaa?STAYSEA wrote:Yes Way wrote:I'm always entertained by people declaring certain songs "piss break" songs. The only time I take a piss break during a song is when I'm at home and I can pause what I'm listening to.
Seriously, I just paid to see a really, really good band play live. Why would I skip out on any of it? I've seen Evenflow 32 times (thanks StatTracker!), and urinated during zero of them. One of the cool things about being an adult is I can hold it for three hours.
I've been to 37 shows and never, ever, not one time taken a leak during any of them. Between bands? Sure. After the show? Absolutely. Just not during.
Who's with me? How many non-piss break shows have you been to?
Medical surgeons, and the assisting Nurses are the only people I know that have to hold urine for any length of time.
I think it matters that you drink fluids. No water, alcohol or salt.... hours before the show and you may be okay.
I have a small bladder and I need to go when I need to go.
I have known people that can't hold it at all, and they are older than me. For some, it's a medical thing.
Maybe, we (those that need RELEASE), should wear diapers to the show. I know RHCP does.

If someone whipped it out and started pissing in a cup next to me I'd consider calling security and getting him kicked out, seriously. I can't believe people have been known to do this. But that's just me.
Ive seen it done. You dont whip it out. You stuff the cup in your pants.
Yes, I was just joking. I wear a nappy

Your bladder may be squeezed, to prove a point.

I've never pissed during a show, never will. But then again. I don't drink a whole lot so the bladder is never put under pressure.0

I pee as I need to.. But I always quit drinking a few hours before the show. That way there's nothing to hold!! Lol0

...not one to hold back entertaining anybody, my declared pee break song is nothing as it seems.
SORRY
Also after reading your post, it makes even more sense why people would choose "even flow" as their song to even flow.0 -
There are only a couple for me - Bushleaguer, Come Back, etc.The only people we should try to get even with...
...are those who've helped us.
Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.0 -
I've been to 37 shows and have probably taken a piss break 3-4 times. I try to avoid having to go to the bathroom at shows, but sometimes nature calls and you have no choice.
I timed my piss break at Camden '06 (night 2 I think) perfectly. We had the last 2 seats in the aisle, right next to the exit doors. I mean I could literally see the bathroom doors from where we sat. As soon as they kicked into Army Reserve, I sprinted. Made it back before the song was even half over.Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"
Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"0 -
Expel my fluids through sweat from rockin out to the music so no need to take a Piss Break. Also limit my alcohol consumption as I want to experience the show, not a buzz.

During Jazz Fest couple years ago went solo and didn’t want to lose my spot on rail so went 10h Hours WO taking a piss.

I did the same thing for Jazz Fest, I was on the rail and did not want to leave. Luckily all the water I drank was sweated out due to the heat, so a piss wasn't necessary....haha40+ shows, it is never enough!0 -

Well, that's better than Fergie. She just pees her pants full on, right there on stage.

I've taken one break in my 11 shows. Even Flow at MSG in 2010. I had to go really badly and I rushed to get back before Mike starts to tear it up. I could hear the entire song on my way to and from the urinal.severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31
