I'm morello as in a type of dark cherry, not as in Tom Morello. I've seen RatM a couple of times but never been a huge fan.

Anyway, I'm still on a +1 on there are no piss break songs. Why pay good money for a show & miss anything going to the bathroom whether you're GA or not? You can drink beer any day, you can't see whatever band it is any day.

Another pro of not getting drunk is you will remember the show crystal clear.
I think that is why I missed Eddie playing basketball in one of the Berlin 12 shows.
I don't get so drunk I can't remember the show... I always see this reasoning, but really, how many people get so drunk that they black out?? I am capable of drinking AND remembering the whole show.

I regretfully bought my 10 yr old daughter to Hyde park hoping she would learn to love pearl jam as much as me. She spent the whole time winging about needing the toilet, naturally I wouldn't take her til the end when all the portaloos were packed :fp: So we had to search for a quiet tree.
That sucks! I am tempted to bring my daughter who will be 11 in the fall, her fav song is BUGS, has it on her ipod :) but I'm hoping for GA and that is nowhere for her to be :(
She used to love PJ but this year her fav band is One Direction ! :o so I'm not wasting my ticket on her or anyone else in my house! I think they are all sick and tired of hearing PJ and we have a long trek across the country coming up in Aug so they are def going to be sick of PJ before the tour!:lol::lol::lol:

    Relax. I'm just teasing.

I prioritize the music too. That still just doesn't exclude emptying my bladder when it needs to be. You can even still hear the show in the washroom. It just doesn't seem like a big deal to me.
It's not a big deal, I just say +1 on there are no piss break songs, I'm happy to not drink & not take piss breaks & get as close as poss in ga shows & I'm happy with that & don't think that's weird or nuts at all.

I also thought so. Till I saw that youtube video of Eddie with the basketball. No idea how I miss ed that. I am 100% positive that I did not get my eyes off the stage for a minute. Stare a woman, face booking, count my pocket-money, none of them... during the show.

Say what you will about that song, but if I had taken a leak when they played it in Vancouver I would've missed Ed yelling at the front row - one of the more memorable moments of all the shows I've been at. You never know!

 What was up with that crowd up there, anyway?! As someone from Vancouver, I find it embarrassing. I hope it doesn't make them avoid the city in the future. :?

I swear I'm either the worst judge of a crowd ever or I'm always in a place that is different from the majority. In Vancouver I was surrounded by good people and it sure sounded and looked like the crowd was into it to me. I was focused on the band for the most part though, so I was pretty surprised by the fanviews afterwards.

Or maybe the crowd sucked because they were still in shock from that poster...

It was just the front few rows (most from Seattle.according to the cheering when ed asked who was from Seattle). The front was just dead. Like trees. Granted of was during Ole, but from what I've seen on YouTube, the front rows were dead for the whole show. That why he got pissed finally. However, he also said something about wishing that the rest of the crowd from the back could move up, so it sounds like most of the crowd was good, but the ones who matter most to the band as far as energy goes may as well have been dead. In any case, as someone from Vancouver, I can say that it is not generally a good town for awesome crowds in gnerally (although once in a while it comes together). Not sure why that is.... I think it's been improving lately though.

Sorry but you should either be getting a hand job or taking a leak when Just Breathe is played. There is really no other excuse for sitting through that song at a show so considering I go to shows with my brother, I'm taking a leak.

I have! Until one time in college when my lacrosse coach yelled at me in the locker room for taking too long in the john. He said "Alright October, shake it once, twice; three times you're playing with it!"

You had plenty of time to take a piss in 08 when Just Breathe came on. It was followed by The End. 10.27- Saw Bee Girl. Listened to :30 of JB and was back in time for All Those Yesterdays! Tremendous move!

I was near a bathroom on 10/30 and got a HUGE piss during Cropduster. Was the best song of the night!:lol:
