you think because of these idiots that commit crimes using a gun makes it o.k to punish everybody that owns a gun ? and this bullshit using Newtown killing and alike as an excuse to put stricter control on responsible gun owners if fucking lame..I'll say it one more time "people kill people" if they use a gun, knife, car or a bowling ball the fact remains a person with the ability to think and act killed those people, why is that so frigging hard to understand ???????

I am not getting dragging into the utter idiocy of the "knives and cars kill people too" argument. We've already done that, and I think that the great majority of us agree that it's one of the most ridiculous arguments of all time. But I do always think about all those stories where some freak with a knife went on a rampage and the headlines are always "such and such number of people hurt". And when some freak with a gun goes on a rampage the headlines are always "such and such number of people killed." .... Hmm. But the same isn't necessarily true when it comes to bombs.... Bombs are arms, aren't they? So I guess you must be against regulations and restrictions on bomb ownership too, right? With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. really, bombs ???? it's a baited question and you're pulling at straws, your reasoning and excuses are in my opinion very weak and over used, you and others keep blamming murder on the weapon (gun) almost as if the person that commited the crime was being controled by the weapon leaving them powerles and void of rational thought because the weapon had control over them....geeeeezzzz.

Yes, bombs. It's not a baited question. It's the exact same reasoning, because I'm asking you about regulations and how they punish responsible people. If bombs are regulated and restricted, why aren't guns? They both can kill a lot of people. If you don't want restrictions on guns, why would you want restrictions on bombs? What's the difference? My point is, of course, that not wanting regulations and restrictions for guns is illogical. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. the differencr between guns and bombs ? you'd have a hard time finding guns that match the power and influance that "fat man" and "little boy" had.need I say more ?
I believe certin restrictions on guns are necessary as far as who can legally buy them but to keep adding restrictions every time some nut job uses a gun in a crime is just stupid, there was no doubt who did some of these killings maybe if they were publicly stiped naked and and disembouled or drawn and quatered it would make SOME of these attention seeking nut jobs think a little harder before using a gun or any weapon to commit murder , in other words punish the guilty parties not the rersponsible gun owners.

And again I ask, HOW IS REGULATING GUNS PUNISHING RESPONSIBLE GUN OWNERS? If they are responsible gun owners, they regulations will not affect them. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -

Everyone from outside our country.....Placing our children and communities at risk to shoot at beer cans......
Good grief
I know you are in a place where the gunfire sings a sweet song (weird, man... weird), but don't get stuck on the scenario I illustrated that most likely describes your reality. It's okay to load up the old truck, drive out to the backwoods, drink beer, and then shoot your beer cans and maybe even any critter that happens to run by you. This is what your founding fathers wanted for you.
Speak to the other items though: the ones that depict the argument gun lovers present as weak, simple, and nonsensical. Hard to do, eh?
I'm done playing games with you "progressives"...I choose to defend myself in the most lethal way possible. It's my choice and I've made it. I'm not bringing a knife to a gun fight.
You keep your advice. I'll keep my guns.
Like I said earlier in the thread, why have your life run by fear? Pro-gun people overstate their need for protection and defense. Having a gun around creates a greater hazard than the protection you might get from it.0 -

This is completely asinine.

If it's asinine, then you should be able to shoot it down with valid points pretty easily.0
