    So you think that events like Newtown and the resulting offensive NRA bullshit and the vote against legislation, all of which was international news and a point of discussion around the world, isn't making tourists think twice? Wrong. This issue is spiraling out of control, and the whole world is watching it happen right now. This right to bare arms bullshit is just making everyone think the gun culture in the US is scary and ridiculous. They don't care about some normal person having a gun. They care about the NRA throwing parties where fucking dummies called "The Ex" are made to shoot up while gun massacres keep happening.

    How is better regulation punishment?? And how is calling a spade a spade when we point out the barbarism of NRA gun freaks punishment? Responsible gun owners should support regulation. Irresponsible ones do not.
    I am not getting dragging into the utter idiocy of the "knives and cars kill people too" argument. We've already done that, and I think that the great majority of us agree that it's one of the most ridiculous arguments of all time. But I do always think about all those stories where some freak with a knife went on a rampage and the headlines are always "such and such number of people hurt". And when some freak with a gun goes on a rampage the headlines are always "such and such number of people killed." .... Hmm. But the same isn't necessarily true when it comes to bombs.... Bombs are arms, aren't they? So I guess you must be against regulations and restrictions on bomb ownership too, right?

    I blame murder on the person. But I don't support having no regulations for weapons that help people murder as many people as possible.
    Yes, bombs. It's not a baited question. It's the exact same reasoning, because I'm asking you about regulations and how they punish responsible people. If bombs are regulated and restricted, why aren't guns? They both can kill a lot of people. If you don't want restrictions on guns, why would you want restrictions on bombs? What's the difference? My point is, of course, that not wanting regulations and restrictions for guns is illogical.

    I believe certin restrictions on guns are necessary as far as who can legally buy them but to keep adding restrictions every time some nut job uses a gun in a crime is just stupid,there was no doubt who did some of these killings maybe if they were publicly stiped naked and and disembouled or drawn and quatered it would make SOME of these attention seeking nut jobs think a little harder before using a gun or any weapon to commit murder , in other words punish the guilty parties not the rersponsible gun owners.

    Oh? That depends on the bomb, right? The Boston bombs killed 3 people, hurt many. But what would have happened if those dude had opened up on the crowd with a couple of AK47s? I bet a lot more people would actually have been killed.... So maybe sometimes a bomb is better than a gun if you're worried about how deadly they are. The point is, of course, it is ludicrous to regulate one of these weapons and not the other. Sure, some people have fun shooting guns. I know a lot of people who have fun blowing shit up. So why, if you don't want the kinds of restrictions being proposed on guns, why would you support restrictions on small bombs. Not atom bombs, of course. Military grade cannons aren't legal, and neither would a military grade bomb be. But why not the kinds of bombs used in Boston? And pipe bombs, etc? I figure if you support the rights of gun owners without regulation, you have to support the rights of bomb makers without regulation too.... Or maybe gun owners SHOULD he regulated. :think:

    And again I ask, HOW IS REGULATING GUNS PUNISHING RESPONSIBLE GUN OWNERS? If they are responsible gun owners, they regulations will not affect them.

    Like I said earlier in the thread, why have your life run by fear? Pro-gun people overstate their need for protection and defense. Having a gun around creates a greater hazard than the protection you might get from it.
