fuck ya! Vedder was a fucking maniac that night, jumping and spinning around the stage and he sounded the best i have ever heard him live . Great fuckin show and the crowd was incredibly loud throughout the entire set

  • I was at this show as well (made the road trip from Cleveland!) What a nice memory on this otherwise sad anniversary.

    Rock on...

  • Damn....what a good time that weekend in Canada was, I now have a couple dozen great new friends to show for it!

And two of them now have a little one that was conceived in Kitchener that weekend....

''The Beer Store'' another fun memory. Coolers lite was on sale I remember. Also discovered Stella Artois Belgium beer, good stuff. :)

Oh yea and the shows was great also, the start of 5 shows in a row. :)

couldnt agree more. i spent today listening to kitchener. me and my friend brendan spent 8 hours driving up from long island. great trip involving, pot-tea, pepto-bismol and jelly on wheat. we listened to the gorge acoustic set when we drove off round 6am. lowlight hit as the sun rose. (as opposed to setting at the actual show) it was hard enough finding a beer store once in canda, however we were finally able to secure a twelve of moosehead, only for the box to break once walking to the hotel (not the walper but right across from it)
and once at the pre-party we were fortunate enough to meet some beautiful people. ESPECIALLY the lovely laura (quoted above)
this night was soo special just being the first night and being in such a small venue. maybe a more typical set, but very strong at the same time and certainly and incredible crowd. im soo thankfull to have been there. it definitely took me far away from what happened a few miles west of here 4 years earlier (5 years ago today). this is my first post in weeks (possibly months). its good to be back. i look forward to posting tomorrow bout the great night i had a year ago (9/12/05 london)!
    till then

You know, last night in Paris, I was next to exactly the same person (Mexican touring buddy) as I was in Kitchener 365 days before that. That was so cool. I didn't know I would meet him and then suddenly there he was. Hearing Hide Your Love Away really took me back to what was the first song I ever saw Eddie perform. :)

Haha. Everything is different now. I haven't been to a PJ show since 2006!!! My daughter is 4 now. I miss the smell of beer in the morning.

Maybe I am itching for a real Pearl Jam tour. Maybe.
