  • The walper was nice, but not nearly as nice as the hole we waited an hour and a half to check into the next night in London. Did anyone ever call the corporate offices to complain? I know PBM and PBW were talking about it.

i never did make it to the walper -- missed my exit and got lost on the way back. barely made it to the venue in time to smoke a joint then watch the show.

The funny thing is that I was cleaning my office out last week and found the General Manager's card. I have it sitting in front of me now.

That BS he was giving you about staying in $400/per night rooms and experiencing the same thing was hiliarious. Sure thing dude, you work here, and you have that kind of cash to spend on a room? It was just rediculous. It would have been understandable if the staff was accommodating, but they were all so rude.
However the night before and the festivities leading up to the show in Kitchener were terrific. Lots of nice people, and the staff at the bar were great.

Didn't stay at Walper. I flew to Toronto the nite b4 and drove to Kitchener in the morning. Found a small motel less then 2 blocks from venue. I was laughing how close it was. Found ''The Beer'' store and made our way to venue. LOL Yes the next nite was fun in London waiting in line to check in. Ahh good times. lol

Not only that, but they didn't want to let us start checking in until like 3:00...come on man.

That was a very bad place.

Was it the Walper that gave you guys trouble, or the London hotel?

No, the folks at the Walper were great...it's London that was terrible.

The folks at the Walper were so accomendating, plus the rooms were really nice.

My only regret from Kitchener is that I didn't get to partake in the Walper jam session.
