I wanted this so bad. I never had a chance. And I was so blessed someone just mailed it to me.
It's not the same as the image. I need to frame mine.
I have posters I could give no thoughts about. This one made me crazy.
My first poster was small. It was some band members in a race car. I can't find the image.
I remember who stole/took it from my house or off my wall when I wasn't home. He should be very nervous If I see him ever again.
That is straight and plain Wrong! Karma... hopefully.
Hey, there's my poster again!
(I don't have to keep posting pictures of yours... I found one  )
Cleveland 1994 by Derek Hess is My personal Holy Grail.
These 2 could also be considered my HGs if we are allowed to have more than one.
i think many from '96 fit the holy grail bill. that tour had a good blend of scarcity and awesome designs, while the tours before that had the scarcity aspect to it, but many of the designs were pretty bland in my opinion.
'98 was also a great year for posters. got my holy grail in the parking lot of the meadowlands before the show (which covered the two MSG shows as well). didn't know the big fuss about posters at the time, so it was thumb tacked to my wall throughout high school. :fp: when i realized the value, i took it down and got it framed. the frame covers the tack holes so you can't even tell.
My best is the Sydney 1998 crocodile one. My first show. The only poster I don't have is a missing link one, EV Canberra 2011, or which one was never sold (but I imagine one was designed and not approved). I have seen that Detroit EV one, similar to that story I imagine.
there is one on ebay right ow.
My choice is my avatar. not a very good picture but it is Perth(Perth is in green) '98 & Hawaii(Hawaii in yellow) '98 & Hawaii (Hawaii in green like the Perth, never seen Hawaii in green).

I've never heard of the alternate '98 Maui you mentioned. I'd contact Ames Bros and ask Coby if it's a bootleg.

This is my holy grail, as well. Last show I went to before Missoula. Last time I saw one on ebay, it was like $500. :fp:
You need to be more persistent in your search. 5 different auctions for this poster closed for no more than $200 on eBay during 2012, with the last one fetching $108.19 this past December.

Cool...haven't looked in a long time and must have been at the wrong time! But right now, I know I wouldn't be able to even afford $108 since going to Wrigley!
I'll ride the wave where it takes me...

You can actually just set up an ebay alert and have it email you when a matching listing is posted.
"Pearl Jam Lauderedale" ought to do the trick where you get notified when a new listing with those words is put up, but you aren't getting an email a day because people keyword spam.

Wow! I have this one, my first show. The corners of mine are pretty much ruined, back then I had no idea of a poster's value so I just pinned it up on the wall, then later used blue-tac, d'oh! It is a great print though.
*edit* On further inspection this is slightly different to mine, different show same tour by the looks of it.
The only "old" poster I have is from the Yield tour when PJ played East Lansing, my second ever show. Merch stand was outside so I was able to snag one of the 350 prints pretty early. I think most of them were bought and trashed and long since forgotten by the college students:
My non-PJ holy grail is a TSP print from the Arising tour in 1999, we camped out overnight to be the first in line at the first show in Detroit. Met the band at the hotel, ordered pizza in line, Chris Chelios came by trying to score an extra ticket and was not successful(took some people to the bar for drinks too, real cool guy). The print itself wasn't super limited but the story behind the show makes it special to me(and IIRC these were not sold at every show, I bought mine after the tour from the band's website). The poster itself is awesome as it changes colors based on the lighting, the creamy white changes to a greenish color and the grey is a silver metallic:
"Populated with every reject and cutthroat from Bombay to Calcutta. It's worse than Detroit."
what's this missing link poster you speak of? thanks.
mike
I'm not 100% sure, but I think these three posters were "missing link". All from 2000er tour
The clown one can stay missing imo LOL
That's what I love about this place. Everyone has their own opinion and everyone respects others opinions. I personally love that poster....heck, it's my avatar!

Got there just late for that, but landed that Ames Bros (which is a beaut). I cant complain.

I am looking for the August 27th, 2000 poster from Saratoga Springs, NY. Does that poster even exist?
Also, looking for a Hartford '98, Mansfield, MA '00
I have a few gems and would be happy to trade. I have a few San Diego, Seattle, Banaroo and Showbox posters for trade.
PM me. Thanks
