blink 182: enema of the state. two day shipping from bull moose!
I had fun in used bins trying to collect all three versions of the covers on CD recently.
I never knew there were three versions! the vinyl sounds great! one of my favorite albums from my college days.
Yea, I just started hunting them down in the bins lately. 1. First release has a red cross on the nurse's hat and a capital B in the Blink-182 logo. 2. The band preferred the lower-case b in the band name, and the second version features the red cross and a lower-case b. 3. The American Red Cross then forced the band to remove the red cross from their artwork, and thus, the third version of the album cover features a plain white nurse's hat and a lower-case b. It is the only version to have a Parental Advisory label.

How does this LP sound? a re-issue of the America Recordings?... I have seen a few in my record store and it was tempting to buy them plus I have a soft spot for Johnny Cash
Probably digital, not certain. Mine is the ORG 2009 cut by Bernie Grundman and I think it sounds really good. Kurt is in the room. They repressed this using the same plates from the 2009 ORG, so same sound for like $25. Just like they repressed the great ORG cut of Nevermind recently.
Note - I did just see this as I looked a little into the lineage - "Mastered for vinyl from the original analog master tapes at Bernie Grundman Studios" (stated on ORG's website), so it may be analog, but that is not actually stated on the release.
This band The Why Store unfortunately didn't put out any Vinyl albums, but definitely would have if things had worked out differently. I post this here because people on this thread are interested in good music. & It's what I got on the last few days. A damn good band that almost broke out into mainstream, had a few songs on the charts, but just didn't get a lot of traction. But I love this band & Chris Shaffer. The record deal with a major label fell flat because Chris Shaffer refused to sellout. Was told by industry executives to cut his hair short and shift his musical style to a more punkish style, as was the trend mid-late 90s and be more like Green day & Blink 182. Chris refused, hence no deal. Not long after that, the band broke up. That major record label went with Blink 182 that year. https://youtu.be/HE8QFMFeIxs
